Point Guard
Collin Sexton ($7,200) vs Magic- Collin Sexton has gotten off to a terrific start this season for the Cavaliers and has been shooting the ball superbly from the field. In 6 games this season Sexton is averaging 26 PPG and 3.7 APG while shooting 55.6% from the field and 55% from behind the arc. He will be up against a Magic team that is allowing the 4th most OPPG this season and will have trouble finding someone who can slow down Sexton.
Shooting Guard
Seth Curry ($5,600) vs Hornets- Seth Curry made the move from Dallas to Philadelphia this season and he has started off great with his new team. He has scored 30+ FPTS in each of the last 3 games and has hit 3s at a 57.1% rate in his last 5 games. Curry is mostly known for the 3 point shooting but a good thing for fantasy owners is that we have seen him rack up 4+ assists in 3 of the last 4 games. That added value makes him a steal at this price in my opinion tonight vs the Hornets.
Small Forward
Khris Middleton ($7,700) vs Pistons- Khris Middleton has quietly been great in the first handful of games this year. He is averaging over 40 FPPG and has been stuffing the stat sheet with 21.2 PPG 5.8 RPG and 6.3 APG. They will be up against the Pistons tonight, who are allowing the 2nd highest opponents FG% this season and will be on the 2nd game of a back to back. There is a chance this game could be a blowout but I believe Middleton will still do enough to be a valuable fantasy asset.
Power Forward
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,800) vs Pistons- We all know Giannis is one of the best DFS players, and he has shown why this season. He is coming off two games of 65+ FPTS, and as he usually does he is stuffing the stat sheet. The Pistons defense is mediocre at best so Giannis should be able to get his way. The price is steep but the return should be even greater, especially because it looks like the Greek Freak is starting to get into a real good rhythm.
Center
JaVale McGee ($4,500) vs Magic- Javale McGee hasn’t been getting a ton of playing time in Cleveland but he has been making the most of it. In only 17 minutes per game he is averaging 10.5 PPG 7.7 RPG and 1.0 BPG. He had his best game of the year on Saturday night when he scored 14 PTS with 9 REB and 4 AST in a season high 25 minutes. He is very active on both ends of the court and if he keeps scoring like he has been he can be one of the better middle tier big men on DK. The Magic paint defense isn’t anything to write home about so I expect McGee to put up some solid #’s again.
Sleeper Play
Delon Wright ($4,000) vs Bucks- Derrick Rose gets a majority of the 2nd unit PG minutes but he didn’t play in the Pistons first back-to-back this season and as of this writing it is unclear if he will play tonight. If he doesn’t I would love to have Delon Wright on my squad. The first time Derrick Rose was out Wright put up a very good 18 PTS 5 REB and 4 AST vs the Hawks. However, if Rose does play I wouldn’t take a chance with Delon Wright in your lineup because he hasn’t been able to produce very much with Rose. Take a look before lineups lock to see the status of both these players before locking in your lineup.
