NBA DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks 10/29/19

Point Guard
Goran Dragic ($5,700) vs Hawks– His role may decrease with the return of Jimmy Butler but I believe Dragic will still get the opportunity to get good minutes with the bench unit. Dragic is averaging 19 PPG 4.7 RPG and 5.0 APG so far this season and a lot of people wrote him off after an injury plagued year last season. He is healthy at the moment and will have a good matchup vs the Hawks on the 2nd end of a back to back and they are not a very good defensive team overall. Look for Dragic to put together a nice performance tonight at home.
Shooting Guard
Luka Doncic ($9,500) vs Nuggets– Luka has picked up right where he left off last season, he is averaging 29.3 PPG 10.3 RPG and 7.3 APG so far this year through 3 games. He wasn’t efficient in their last game but he was still able to fill the stat sheet which is all we ask for as fantasy owners. He has yet to score less than 52 FPTS in a game and given how involved he is in the offense I think this is a trend we may see for a while. The price is obviously very steep but I think it is worth it tonight vs the Nuggets.
Small Forward
Dillon Brooks ($4,100) vs Lakers– Brooks missed all of last season with an injury and he had his first great game in the Grizzlies last contest where he dropped 21 PTS on 9/15 shooting with 3 three pointers. He has played 30+ minutes in each of the last two games and it seems like Memphis is going to give him a shot to earn the permanent starting role. Brooks is also shooting 50% from the field through 3 games this year from behind the arc. He won’t give you much other than scoring but I believe he will be able to build off his game on Sunday night vs the Lakers on the road in this one.
Power Forward
Bam Adebayo ($7,000) vs Hawks– With Hasaan Whiteside in Portland, Bam Adebayo has gotten the chance to play starters minutes and it has really paid off for the Heat and fantasy owners. He has scored 33.25, 49.25, and 40.25 FPTS in 3 games this season and has done a little bit of it all with 16 total assists already. Adebayo looks to be having a break out year and his offense paired with his ability to play defense he could be a monster in DK this season.
Center
Jonas Valanciunas ($6,300) vs Lakers– Valanciunas has been forgotten a little bit since he was traded from Toronto to Memphis at the trade deadline last season. He is only averaging around 20 minutes per game this season but in those minutes he has gotten a lot of shots up in a short amount of time. He has also grabbed 24 rebounds in the last two games combined. He can produce in short stretches and I think we see that again tonight vs the Lakers whose big man tandem of McGee and Dwight Howard are wild cards at this point. In a small 3 game slate I’m willing to take the risk with the Memphis big man.
Sleeper Play
Bruno Fernando ($3,200) vs Heat– Fernando is a real wild card but at this price in a 3 game slate I think you should always take some chances looking for value. Fernando is a rookie and has seen decent minutes so far this season, 12.6 per game. That should be a little high because he missed half of the Magic game but last night he played well vs stiff competition with 11 PTS 4 REB 2 AST and 2 BLKs vs the 76ers which was good for 23 FPTS. He is a bouncy athletic center who should be able to block some shots and be active in put back situations for the Hawks who love to get up and down the floor. At only $3,200 if you are looking for a deep sleeper I think Fernando is worth a look.
