Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($5,500) vs Warriors– With only two games on tonight’s slate there isn’t a lot of options but at point guard I like what I saw from Gilgeous-Alexander in game 1. He put up 18 PTS and 5 REB and got up a healthy 16 shots. He only recorded 1 assist which I expect to not happen again tonight. With three 18+ points performances in the last 5 games I think Shai has been making the right strides and is a solid play at $5,500 tonight in Oakland.
Caris LeVert ($5,600) vs 76ers– LeVert has really picked up his play and he looks like he is back in his groove after a rough return from his leg injury. After a 23 point performance on Saturday he is averaging 18.8 PPG 3.5 APG and 3.5 RPG on 55% shooting from the field. He has also scored 33+ FPTS in 3 of the last 4 games coming into tonight. LeVert doesn’t consistently contribute greatly in difference aspects other than scoring but he has proven in the past he has the potential to do so in certain spots. I think that could be tonight and love him at this price in Philadelphia.
Kevin Durant ($8,000) vs Clippers– It was mainly Steph Curry’s show in game 1 but Durant was still able to put up 23 PTS on 8/16 and scored almost 40 FPTS. If there is one thing we know about the Warriors it’s that any given night one of their star players can go off. I think there will be adjustments made for Curry which could open some things up for Durant and he will have a bigger impact on the game than game 1. At only $8,000 for a player his caliber I think it is definitely worth the risk even if his ownership will be sky high.
Draymond Green ($6,100) vs Clippers- Draymond showed why he is very valuable to Warriors in game 1 when he put up 17 PTS 7 REB and 7 AST while shooting an impressive 7/12 from the field. We know his shot isn’t reliable but over the last 5 games he is shooting it at a 53% clip and is even 7/15 from behind the arc. If he can start hitting that shot it could be game over for the Warriors opponents, if it wasn’t already. Draymond shows up when it matters most so I think he will be solid again tonight and hopefully he can cut down on the 6 TOs he had Saturday night.
Montrezl Harrell ($5,900) vs Warriors– Harrell continues to score whenever he pleases and in game 1 of this series he put up 26 PTS on 11/15 shooting from the field. In the last 2 games overall he is shooting 21/28 from the field and is averaging 25 PTS 6 REB 3.5 AST. He still doesn’t rebound much for a big man but you can’t deny his 40+ FPTS in each of the last two games and his scoring prowess over the course of the season. Look for Harrell to get up a fair amount of shots and put up some solid numbers tonight.
JaMychal Green ($3,800) vs Warriors– Green’s Clippers “career” has been up and down but he is the type of player they need to perform well if they want any chance in this series. His athleticism and ability to guard multiple positions has earned him some more playing time. He won’t wow you with any particular thing but he is able to grab a good amount of boards and can contribute in points much like DeMarre Carroll does on the Nets. If you are looking for a potential under the radar player this is your guy in this range.
