Derrick White ($5,300) vs Nuggets– Despite his lack of experience Derrick White has continued to play good basketball his first two playoff starts, 16.5 PPG 3.5 RPG and 2.5 APG. He failed to record an assist in game 2 but that is not something that I would expect to continue. The Nuggets lack a defensive stopper at the PG position so I expect more of the same from White as they head home for game 3.
DeMar DeRozan ($7,600) vs Nuggets– Depsite the loss DeMar DeRozan came out strong in game 2 for the Spurs putting up 31 PTS 7 REB and 2 AST on 11/19 shooting from the field. He has now scored 40+ fantasy points in each of the first two games of this series and I believe he has yet to reach his peak. He has shown throughout the season that he has the ability to rack up a good amount of assists but we just haven’t seen that yet. He is one of the more consistent players on the Spurs so I believe we will see a near triple-double from DeRozan tonight in his first Spurs playoff home game.
Danilo Gallinari ($6,900) vs Warriors– Danilo got back on track after a rough game 1 to score 24 PTS 6 AST and 4 REB in that big comeback game 2 victory. He has been a 20 point scorer all year for the Clippers and coming back home and being healthy for the first time in a while I think he will have a great game. He can contribute on the glass and his shooting is a main piece of the Clipper offense that will need to score in bunches to keep up with the Warriors. Even though his price is a little steep Gallinari is a guy with a high ceiling which is what you need in these 3 game slates.
Montrezl Harrell ($6,300) vs Warriors– Harrell came through for us again in game 2 putting up 25 PTS and 10 REB on 9/9 shooting. He is now shooting a combined 20/24 in this series and has scored over 24 PTS in each of his last 3 games. It was great to see him make a contribution on the glass which isn’t always a given with him. It is hard to find a way not to roster Harrell even if his price continues to go up from the point. The Warriors lack a PF who can match Harrell’s offensive skillset and physicality which makes him the perfect big man to go up against this Warriors team. Look for Harrell to put up another great performance at home vs the Warriors.
Nikola Jokic ($9,400) vs Spurs– Jokic has done it all for the Nuggets in this series scoring over 54 FPTS in each of the first two games including one triple-double and missing out on it by 2 assists in their last game. Jokic learned in game two that if they want to win he is going to have to contribute by scoring the ball to go along with his other skills. After that solid game two performance that makes it 3 straight games where Jokic has scored just about 55 FPTS and I don’t expect that to stop now, especially with what the Nuggets are asking of him in this series.
Monte Morris ($4,000) vs Spurs– Monte Morris stepped up off the bench for the Nuggets in game 2 putting up a solid 11 PTS and 6 AST off the bench in 24 minutes. Of all the people in this $4,000 range I think Morris offers the most because of his ability to rack up assists and score at a decent level in a solid amount of bench minutes for Denver. Look at Morris to play-make with the bench unit tonight.
