Ricky Rubio ($5,700) vs Rockets– Rubio has been playing well in the playoffs despite his poor shooting percentage. He is averaging 15 PPG and 8 APG which are both higher than what he averaged in the regular season. He is distributing at an elite level and is coming off of a game where he had 18 PTS and 11 AST in a must win. Rubio does a little bit of it all which is why I’m intrigued by him at this price in a 2 game slate. Other than the big 3 of Harden, Curry, and Mitchell I think I am most confident in Rubio at the PG position.
James Harden ($10,400) vs Jazz– Harden hasn’t been his best in the last two games but you better believe he will be at the top of his game at home with a chance to knock out Utah from the playoffs. In the two home games in this series Harden is averaging a triple-double and overall in home games he has been much better throughout the whole season. I’m expecting 55+ FPTS from the highest priced player tonight.
Royce O’Neale ($4,000) vs Rockets– Royce O’Neale has emerged as a player who the Jazz like to use against Harden on the defensive end and he has started to accure lots of minutes in the last 3 games. He has scored 27.5+ FPTS in 2 of the last 3 games and has shown to have a capable shot from the outside. I view him a lot like PJ Tucker and at $600 cheaper tonight I feel confident rostering O’Neale as a flyer option in this small slate.
Danilo Gallinari ($6,300) vs Warriors– Gallinari’s price has fallen steeply after two straight games where he couldn’t get anything to fall from outside. I’m hoping for a bit of a resurgence here returning back to Oakland where he scored 24 PTS 6 AST and 4 REB in game 2. We know Gallinari has the ability to make shots but it hasn’t happened and a change of scenery could help. Even if Gallinari doesn’t go off for 25+ points I feel confident he put together a solid fantasy performance with the impact he makes on the glass and passing the ball.
Draymond Green ($6,600) vs Clippers– Green has been one of the most consistent fantasy players in this series not scoring less than 32.25 DK FPTS in any of the first four games. We know he won’t score a lot of points but he is a triple-double threat every time he steps on the court. He is so involved in the offense that he will always get assists and make an impact on the glass. In big games he seems to step up as well so tonight in a close out game I think we will see the best version of Draymond Green, who has actually been shooting the ball nicely during some games in this series.
JaMychal Green ($3,900) vs Warriors–JaMychal Green comes into tonight’s game averaging 11.0 PPG 5.0 RPG on 59% shooting from the field and 61.5% from behind the arc. He didn’t have his best game in his last outing but in every other game he scored double digit points and hit multiple three pointers. At this price you can’t find a lot of guys who have done that and if the Warriors go small which they do more without DeMarcus Cousins, Green could play the 5 spot a lot during this game.
