Delon Wright ($6,500) vs Mavericks– Usual starting point guard Mike Conley has been battling injury and comes into tonight’s game doubtful but Delon Wright has been stepping up in a big way. In the last 5 games Wright is averaging 13 PPG 6.2 APG and 4.0 RPG and will likely see north of 30 minutes tonight vs the Mavs. The Mavs come into this game allowing the 4thmost fantasy points to opposing point guards and I don’t think that’ll change tonight.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($6,100) vs Lakers– Gilgeous-Alexander is starting to shoot the ball well at the right time, he is averaging 15.8 PPG 4.2 APG and 4.0 RPG on 54% shooting in the last 5 games and he has put up 20+ points in 3 of the last 4 overall. The Lakers played last night and have already been eliminated so their defense shouldn’t be standing in the way of letting the Clippers put up some big numbers. In this spot with the lack of defense going around the NBA as we close the season I think Gilgeous-Alexander can continue his great play.
Justise Winslow ($5,800) vs Timberwolves– The Heat were dealt a huge blow when they learned Josh Richardson will be out for 2 weeks as Miami is in the middle of a very tight race for one of the last spots in the eastern conference playoffs. Players like Justise Winslow will need to step up in his absence and he is surely capable. He recently returned from injury but showed in the past he can be a threat running the offense even if he isn’t a particularly good shooter. Look for Winslow to get all the opportunities to fill Richardson’s spot in the offense.
Gordon Hayward ($5,600) vs Pacers– Hayward is starting to put some consistent games together and it couldn’t come any sooner than for the Celtics. He comes into this game averaging 16.2 PPG 5.8 RPG and 3.0 APG on 56% shooting from the field. He has also shown the ability to fill up the stat sheet acting as the playmaker off the bench when Kyrie is off the floor. I’m looking for Hayward to put up a solid 30 FPTS for me in this spot tonight vs the Pacers.
Nikola Jokic ($9,300) vs Trail Blazers– Jokic should have the clear advantage vs Blazers C Enes Kanter tonight, who is known to be one of the worse defensive centers in the NBA. As well all know Jokic can do it all and he is currently averaging 19.2 PPG 11.5 RPG and 4.8 APG in the last 6 games for the Nuggets. The Blazers still have a chance at the 1 seed so they will be playing for it although it is unlikely they get there. Jokic should be able to get whatever he wants tonight at home vs the Trail Blazers.
Danuel House Jr. ($3,900) vs Knicks– House has put up 25+ FPTS in the last two games and vs a Knicks team that is not very good he could get some more run and more opportunities to score. He lets it fly from deep and in a slate this large House at $3,900 feels like a steal given his abilities compared to the other players in this price range. I wouldn’t say he is a must play but he is one of the better value options tonight in my opinion.
