Point Guard
Stephen Curry ($7,700) vs Rockets– Curry has been ripped apart in the media for his performance in the last game but after numerous struggles in this series is he due for a big bounce back? While the slack has been picked up by KD, Steph’s jumpers just haven’t been falling but he is too elite of a shooter for these struggles to continue. He is most likely getting more used to or may not even need the splint for his dislocated finger in this one which will only help. His price continues to drop and at under $8,000 I feel like Curry has tons of valuable upside here.
Shooting Guard
Andre Iguodala ($4,900) vs Rockets– Despite putting up mediocre numbers in the regular season Andre Iguodala has stepped up in the playoffs. In the Warriors last 4 games Iguodala has averaged 15.3 PPG 4.5 RPG and 3.3 APG on 69.4% shooting in almost 34 minutes per game. He has been in the starting lineup and has actually been a main focus of the offense. He has caught numerous lobs close to the rim from Draymond Green and he has shown to be a threat from outside going 7/14 from 3 in the last 4. With four straight games of over 14 points and 3 of 4 games with 32.75 FPTS I feel confident with Andre in this contest.
Small Forward
Marcus Morris ($5,100) vs Bucks– Marcus Morris has played great as of late putting up 14 PPG and 7.3 RPG on 72.7% shooting from the field in the last 3 games. He was in some foul trouble in Boston’s last game but still managed to score 16 points with 8 rebounds. Morris has always been able to score but when he is boarding this well along with the high shooting percentage there is not much more you can ask for. There is a lot to like about the recent play and because of that I have no problems rostering Morris at only $5,100.
Power Forward
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,100) vs Celtics– Is there anything we really need to say about Giannis? His 27.7 PPG 10.0 RPG and 4.7 APG average in the last 3 games speaks for itself and the Bucks have seemed to figure out the Celtics defense and have been scoring in bunches the last two games. Giannis can pretty much get whatever he wants and his track record makes me feel confident in laying $10,100 on him tonight on the road in Boston.
Center
Clint Capela ($5,800) vs Warriors– The Rockets have finally used Clint Capela well in the last two games after having a rough game 1. He has had two straight double-doubles and has picked up 34.5 and 33.75 FPTS in each of those games. The Warriors haven’t been using a true center so as long as Capela keeps getting looks this should be a trend that continues. There isn’t many good center’s in tonight’s slate but of all of them I like Capela much more than any of the others.
Sleeper Play
Pat Connaughton ($3,700) vs Celtics– Since Malcolm Brogdon will not play again tonight that means more minutes of Connaughton. He has been averaging around 27 minutes in the last 3 games and has been active putting up 22.4 FPTS on average in each of those games with 8.0 PPG and 7.7 RPG. Surprisingly Pat has been really good on the glass and he comes into this one off of a great game where he scored 14 points off the bench. At only $3,700 I think he has been doing enough to roster him especially at this price.
