Stephen Curry ($7,900) vs Rockets– While everyone was worried about Curry after a couple rough games he bounced back in their last contest scoring 30 PTS with 8 AST and shot 48% from the field. It’s safe to say that the dislocated finger he had on his non shooting hand has been bothering him but he is such a threat from the outside the defense has to respect it which is why Curry was able to score so much inside the arc. The Warriors returning home gives me hope he can get his shot back on track but at a sub $8,000 price I think Curry is a great option despite the struggles from outside.
Jaylen Brown ($4,700) vs Bucks– Despite the fact that Marcus Smart returned from the lineup Jaylen Brown’s production didn’t drop off and he remained in the starting lineup and after Smart struggles Brown will probably stay there. In the last 4 games Brown is averaging 17.3 PPG and 5.5 RPG while shooting a very solid 38.1% from behind the arc. Brown is very active on defense and his scoring is something we haven’t seen for a lot of the year. At only $4,700 I think Brown offers a lot of value here especially if his rebounds keep up with the scoring.
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,300) vs Celtics– At this point I think Giannis might be a must own player. He scored 70.5 FPTS in his last game, 69.25 FPTS the game before that, and it doesn’t look like the Celtics have found a way to stop him like they did in game 1 of this series. He has been doing it all and shooting the ball at an elite percentage so at $10,300 I have no issues drafting him with the way he has been dominating in this series vs Boston.
Marcus Morris ($5,300) vs Bucks– We had Morris in the Celtics last game and he came through for us putting up 18 PTS and 14 REB on 50% shooting from the field. While I don’t think he will grab 14 rebounds again he has been consistently putting up solid numbers in that part of the game and still has yet to shoot under 50% in a game in this series, he has only shot below that number 1 time in the entire playoffs. In this range Morris is a great middle-tier option that we need cause of the price we paid for Giannis.
Clint Capela ($5,600) vs Warriors– Capela only played 21 minutes in the Rockets last game which is a bit worrisome but even in that time he was active grabbing 9 rebounds and going ¾ from the field. I expect him to play more in tonight’s game and he has shown to be a double-double machine when he gets the playing time and shots. The Warriors don’t play with a center that can match Capela on the glass so he will have free reign and in this slate that lacks big named centers I think he can even offer value at this price.
Austin Rivers ($3,500) vs Warriors– Rivers is priced pretty low here for a guy coming off of a 10 PTS 6 REB 3 AST 26.5 FPTS game in their last contest. Rivers has been a pretty solid option off the bench for the Rockets in this series and he is averaging double digit points in the last 3 games. With the way he has been shooting it from outside I would give Rivers a long hard look as a low-tier option in tonight’s 2 game slate.
