NBA FanDuel DFS Lineup Picks 6/10/19

FanDuel‘s single game slate offers up a unique way to play still in the NBA playoffs. There are rules to this one. Your MVP spot gets you 2x points. Your Star spot gets 1.5x points, and the Pro spot gets 1.2x points. The rest of the utility picks get 1x like normal. There are a total of five spots to fill between tonight’s game.

MVP

Draymond Green ($13,500) –  Draymond Green has been a triple-double machine in the postseason, and he will be needed for big minutes and have that type of production again. The Warriors are on the brink of elimination, and Green will need that monster performance to keep them alive. He has played 40 minutes in five straight games, which is really no surprise, but also continues to rack up assists. He is averaging 8.3 per game in the postseason, and has the ability to generate plenty of defensive stats to give you that edge. There is a slight downgrade if Kevin Durant returns tonight, but at $13,500 he isn’t going to be taken out of my lineups if he does return.

Star

Klay Thompson ($11,500) –  The price tag on Klay Thompson is appealing tonight, regardless of Kevin Durant’s status. I still believe a guy like Thompson gets a boost with Durant back. This will change matchups a bit, but we also need to wait and see if that news comes out. Overall Thompson looked fresh last game after missing Game 3. His shooting has picked up in the finals, and I like it to continue tonight. He can give you a more even lineup building approach given his price tag, and you still get a stud. Take the discount on Thompson.

Pro & Utility

Marc Gasol ($10,000) –  Marc Gasol has been giving on and off games, but has scored 24, 29, 17, and 39 FD points over the four games this series. He also gets to take advantage of the lack of depth or defense in the Warriors front court at the moment. Gasol is just $10,000 and has a pretty consistent floor. His ability to contribute across all categories helps with that. He should play around 28 minutes tonight, but has 30+ upside in this spot. With Cousins, Bogut, and Looney making up the minutes, Gasol is going to have an advantage against all three of them.

Fred VanVleet ($10,500) –  Fred VanVleet suffered a nasty collision in Game 4, but avoided a concussion. He will need some dental work, but Game 5 is not a game he will miss. VanVleet is a lock for 28+ minutes tonight, and his role in the offense continues to be strong. The fantasy production doesn’t always translate to how well he plays, but when he is able to notch some steals, the FD points keep coming. While he is a bit more pricey in comparison to the beginning of the series, I still prefer the balanced route tonight, rather than jamming in both Leonard and Curry.
