DraftKings NFL Week 1 Lines With Best Odds

Atlanta Falcons vs Minnesota Vikings (Atlanta +148)
Matt Ryan and Julio Jones is a QB/WR duo that is among the best in the league. Devonta Freeman and Ito Smith will be a nice one-two punch in the backfield. This Atlanta Falcons offense will be among the best in the league at the end of the season. Their defense is what will need to step up. The Minnesota Vikings are the opposite, all defense and need a little more help from the offense. Their O-line is still questionable and the Falcon pash rush should be able to give Kirk Cousins fits. At +148, the Falcons are a solid bet and will win this game if they can get to Cousins.

Tennessee Titans vs Cleveland Browns (Tennessee +180)
Everyone is high on the Cleveland Browns this season and that is understandable. I also think they will be one of the best teams in the AFC this year and should be able to take the AFC North will all of the talent they have on both sides of the ball. However, being the first game, I think we will see a little bit of a flat start from Cleveland that will fall short of expectations. The hype-train will have a slow start in Cleveland, but it will be in full force come October.

Indianapolis Colts vs Los Angeles Chargers (Indianapolis +135)
This very well could be an AFC playoff preview, possibly even an AFC Championship Game preview. These two teams have the best chances of taking down New England and Kansas City. Andrew Luck will have an MVP caliber season and Phillip Rivers, Keenan Allen, and Melvin Gordon (if he stays put) are a great combination on offense. The defense of both of these teams has improved this offseason and this game should be one of the best of the opening week. At +135 the Colts are a great value in a game that should be graded more like a coin flip.

Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders (Denver+112)
Neither of these AFC West teams should expect much this season. The addition of Antonio Brown isn’t enough to cover all of the holes that the Oakland Raiders need to fill. As for Denver, Joe Flacco may be the starter now, but Drew Lock should take the job by midseason. The Broncos defense is the only good thing going in this game. Expect Denver to contain Brown well and watch the frustration begin in Week 1 when he realizes that Derek Carr isn’t Ben Roethlisberger. This should be a low-scoring ugly game, but the Broncos defense is too good not to take in this game. The Bronco offense should only need two touchdowns to win this game.
