Kyle Pitts Over 57.5 Receiving Yards
I think this bet might be the best prop bet in this game for either team. Pitts is Atlanta’s best receiving option, so I expect Mariota to find him early and often. The New Orleans defense is very good and is going to key in on Pitts because he’s that good, but I expect Mariota to use him as a security blanket and target him a lot throughout the game. Pitts is a dynamic playmaker, and someone that the Falcons are also going to lineup all over the field, which should also help him hit the over on this too. I absolutely love this pick, and I think it’s most likely the most sure thing to happen in this game on either side for an individual player.
Jameis Winston Over 224.5 Passing Yards
This is another prop bet that seems very close to a sure thing. The one thing working against it is that this is Jameis Winston’s first game back from an ACL injury. I still love this prop bet a lot because this will be the first game where New Orleans will have Chris Olave at wide receiver, even though Michael Thomas is questionable. Alvin Kamara is also one of the best receiving running backs in the NFL, so I’d expect a few running back screens to help out those passing yards too. The best thing going for this bet though, is that Winston is a gunslinger of a quarterback and loves to go for the deep ball opportunities. The Falcons passing defense has also taken a step back, and could be a very easy defense for Winston to pick on.
Alvin Kamara Over 93.5 Total Rushing/Receiving Yards
This prop bet may seem like a lot, but Kamara is an all-purpose workhorse for the Saints. A lot of New Orleans’ offense revolves around getting Kamara the ball as early and as often as possible. He’s a threat whenever he touches the ball, and the Falcons defense is most likely not going to be very good, so I think Kamara could have a field day against this unit and do whatever he wants on offense. The Saints are also going to want to establish the run early to get Winston more comfortable in his first game back. The only reason to be a little concerned about this bet is due to the Saints having too many mouths to feed, so the yards might be spread all over the place instead of be focused on getting Kamara a lot of touches.
