However, retail sports betting is still popular for bettors that prefer simply walking up to a window or betting kiosk to place wagers. Even with online sports betting sites available in an increasing number of U.S. states, retail sports betting venues continue to open up and be popular with sports bettors.

One Illinois sports betting hotspot has just opened its own in-person wagering location after collaborating with a popular mobile sportsbook. Let’s check out what to expect from the new PointsBet Sportsbook at Hawthorne Race Course.

Retail PointsBet Sportsbook Opens At Hawthorne Race Course

The PointsBet Sportsbook at Hawthorne Race Course will be open Monday to Thursday from 10am to 9pm and Friday through Sunday from 9am to 9pm. In addition to eight betting kiosks available to guests, the PointsBet Sportsbook features three betting windows.
