New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys Player Props (10/10/21)
Contents
Nobody quite knew what to expect from the Dallas Cowboys this season. The team missed the playoffs last year mostly due to QB Dak Prescott’s ankle injury. However, many also believe head coach Mike McCarthy is holding the team back. Well, they’ve been silencing the doubters so far this season, with a 3-1 record including a razor-thin loss against the Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The New York Giants have not been as successful this year. After an opening double-digit loss to the Denver Broncos, the Giants suffered two straight close losses. However, a major overtime win against the New Orleans Saints showed that the team has some fight, and they’ll try and play up to the competition for the rest of the season. When the Dallas Cowboys host the New York Giants this weekend, we’ll get a better feel for both teams. Let’s take a look at the player props you should keep an eye on for the game.

Daniel Jones Over 27.5 Rushing Yards
Daniel Jones’ running abilities have been a major part of the New York Giants offense this year. He’s got 188 yards on the season and uses his legs to keep opposing defenses on their guard. I think he has a great opportunity to rack up some rush yards against the Dallas Cowboys. Jones is going to have to pull out all the stops to keep up with an electric Dallas Cowboys offense. Expect the QB to scamper for over 27.5 yards on the ground as he tries to lead the Giants to an upset.
Daniel Jones Longest Rush Over 11.5 Yards
While we’re on the subject of Daniel Jones’ running abilities, he’s been pulling off big runs this year. Just look back to Week 2, when the fast quarterback ripped off a 46-yard run against the Washington Football Team. He’s pulled off plenty of big runs in other games as well, such as a 20-yarder against the New Orleans Saints in an overtime upset. The Dallas Cowboys defense has been better than expected this season, but I still see jones getting at least one run over 11 yards.
Ezekiel Elliott Over 75.5 Rushing Yards
A few weeks ago, I said I would be fading Ezekiel Elliott until further notice. Well, the Cowboys running back certainly shut me up. In the past two weeks, Elliott has amassed 238 yards and three TDs. He’s running with power and speed, and I don’t think the Giants will have an answer for the Dallas running back. The Giants defense isn’t having much success stopping the run, allowing 122.8 yards on the ground per game. Expect Zeke to have his third straight impressive performance as I continue to regret believing he was past his prime.
Saquon Barkley Over 92.5 Rushing and Receiving Yards
The New York Giants might not field one of the top offenses in the league, but they have one talented running back in Saquon Barkley. Barkley’s been playing better each week as he’s been healing from last season’s ACL injury, and I expect them to implement the running back more and more as the season progresses. Barkley’s been a factor on the ground and through the air so far this season, as seen with his 126 total yards in the overtime win over the New Orleans Saints. I believe he’s fully capable of matching those numbers as the Giants try and match the high-scoring Cowboys.
