New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers Player Prop Picks
The New York Giants fly to London to face off against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. Both teams are 3-1 on the year so far, with the Giants being the most surprising of that group. This should be a great matchup because it’s the first London NFL game where both teams have a winning record. Let’s take a look at some player prop bets that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns
The Packers have gotten back on track, since Week 1, and it’s been mainly due to the balance of the passing and running game. The rushing game has been great, and that’s exactly why I like this bet here. The running game is going to make the passing game that much easier for the Packers in this game. The Giants have been allowing 200 yards passing yards a game so it’s fair to say that Rodgers could hit that average and then some as well. If he gets to that total, then expect him to get to at least two passing touchdowns just by the amount of times Green Bay could throw the ball. Another reason to like this bet is because the receivers have stepped up and are almost all threats to score as well.
Saquon Barkley Over 77.5 Rushing Yards
Saquon Barkley has been great so far this year. He’s finally been healthy up to this point and it’s been great to watch and great for the Giants offense. He has 84 carries, 463 rushing yards, and two touchdowns through four weeks of the season. Barkley was easily the biggest reason why the Giants were able to win at all last week against the Bears due to both quarterbacks getting injured in some form. Barkley is easily the best offensive player the Giants have, so by the sheer mount of carries in this game he should get over that rushing total. This is a great bet because Barkley is going to get his touches regardless, but even more so if either quarterback is iffy with an injury.
Romeo Doubs Over 44.5 Receiving Yards
Romeo Doubs has been a revelation for the Green Bay passing offense, especially with the loss of Davante Adams. He has 19 catches, 184 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns on the year and his totals have been steadily increasing every game. With the Giants allowing at least 200 passing yards, Doubs should be able to get loose for some receiving yards, especially with Aaron Rodgers throwing you the ball. The volume of Doubs’ targets has gone up each week too, so that should be good enough to hit this over in general. I really like this bet, there was a lot to make about the Green Bay wide receivers after Week 1, but they seem to be playing way better and I would bet that continues here.
