New York Giants vs. New Orleans Saints Player Props (10/3/21)

The Saints are finally going to be back playing at the Superdome this week after a long stretch of playing road games. Alvin Kamara and Jameis Winston will look to lead this group and have some interesting player prop bets to target. Search through our Giants & Saints player prop tool to find the best values.

Jameis Winston Over 1.5 Touchdowns, Under 201.5 Passing Yards

After spending last season as the backup to future Hall-Of-Famer Drew Brees, quarterback Jameis Winston is back in the starting quarterback role. Winston had a surprisingly good game in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers after he threw for five touchdowns in a 38-3 win. After throwing zero touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers, he rebounded by throwing two touchdowns in Week 3 against the New England Patriots. I expect Winston to throw another two touchdowns this week against the New York Giants.

Jameis Winston has thrown for surprisingly few yards in the first three games of the season. He is yet to eclipse the 200-yard mark this year. Don’t be surprised if he fails to do so again this week against the Giants. I expect him to hand the ball off his running backs a lot and keep his total passing yards down.

Alvin Kamara Longest Rush Under 15.5 Yards

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is currently averaging 3.4 yards per carry through the first three weeks of the season. He still has the opportunity to be dominant but has failed to do so this year, I expect him to have one or two big runs against the Giants this week, but neither will be more than 15.5 yards. He will still be effective, but he will not have a big highlight-reel run that will make Sportscenter Top 10.

Taysom Hill Under 1.5 Receiving Yards

Saints quarterback Taysom hill came into this last offseason competing to be the starting quarterback. He lost that battle to Jameis Winston and was once again relegated to the backup role. The Saints have continued to use him as their Swiss army knife, but he is yet to record a reception or a target as a wide receiver. I would expect that trend to continue this week and Taysom Hill to end with zero receiving yards.

Tony Jones Jr. Over 16.5 Rushing Yards

RB2 Tony Jones Jr. rushed for an impressive 50 yards on 11 carries in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers. He has slowed down in the following weeks, but he showed that he can be productive as the backup running back. I do not expect the undrafted running back to have a lot of rushing yards this week against the New York Giants, but I do expect him to have to have more than 16.5.

Adam Trautman Under 11.5 Receiving Yards

Saints tight end Adam Troutman has been pretty forgettable this season. He only has three receptions for 18 yards and those all came in week one. Ever since the current Chargers tight end Jared Cook left the Saints in 2016, they have not been very dependent on their tight ends. This has continued into 2021 with Adam Troutman. The 2020 third-round pick has only been targeted one time in the last two weeks. To top it all off, Saints QB Jameis Winston does not throw the ball that much and does not get very many passing yards. I do not see Troutman having more than one reception this week and surpassing 11.5 passing yards.
