Derrick Henry Over 99.5 Rushing Yards

Derrick Henry is back after an injury sidelined him for a majority of last year, and he should get right back to his usual dominant self. A good way for him to get his running rhythm back is by playing the New York Giants defense. The Giants have revamped a lot in the off-season, but I don’t expect them to be much improved on defense. I also think the Titans are going to want to get Henry involved early and often so he can try and get back to his normal dominant self after so much time off. Henry is the focal point of the Titans’ offense, so expect him to get his numbers against a bad Giants rushing defense. This is one of the easier prop bets to make all weekend.

Saquon Barkley Over 14.5 Rushing Attempts

I think Saquon Barkley might finally be in for a healthy season. If Barkley can stay healthy, then expect him to be a big part of the Giants offense. I don’t love Daniel Jones at quarterback, so I think the Giants might want to lean on Barkley more often than not as a playmaking threat. I think the number of rushing attempts at 14.5 is a little high, but I think Barkley gets over that and hits at least 20 attempts. Tennessee’s defense is very good, so I’m not expecting Barkley to have an amazing game, but I still think he can be productive, and get his fair share of touches. This might be one that not a lot people like, but I’m sold on Barkley being a big part of the Giants’ offense.

Robert Woods Over 51.5 Receiving Yards

Robert Woods comes into the 2022 season on a new team, the Tennessee Titans, and figure to be a big part of the offense. Ryan Tannehill lost his favorite quarterback to throw to in AJ Brown to Philadelphia, so Woods figures to take that role now. Woods has been a very consistent receiver in his career and while he got injured last year, I expect him to get back to that same level he was at. A great defense for the Tannehill and Woods connection to get off the ground is the New York Giants passing defense. New York might struggle all year across the board on defense and a receiver like Woods could benefit from that. Woods is also a great deep threat that I expect Tennessee to use in play-action plays a lot thanks to how strong their running game is. These are all factors for why I really like this bet. The consistency Woods offers is just too much to like against a defense that will most likely struggle all year.
