New York Jets vs. Atlanta Falcons Player Props (10/10/21)

The New York Jets will be traveling to Atlanta, GA this Sunday to play the Atlanta Falcons. The 1-3 Jets are coming off a surprising 27-24 overtime win against the Tennessee Titans, while the 1-3 Falcons are coming off a rough 34-30 loss against the Washington Football Team. Both of these teams need this win desperately if they want any chance of making the playoffs.

Matt Ryan Under 268.5 Passing Yards

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has played pretty well this year. He has thrown for 990 passing yards and eight touchdowns. He has also only thrown three interceptions. The big reason the Falcons have lost three games this year is because their defense gives up too many points. Even though I just praised Ryan, I do not see him throwing for more than 268.5 passing yards. He is currently averaging 247.5 passing yards per game and will be going up against a Jets defense that only allows 226.3 passing yards per game. I am a big believer in numbers and averages, and the numbers and averages just do not add up to Matt Ryan throwing for enough yards.

Atlanta Falcons Longest Field Goal Made

Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koe is one of the best kickers in the NFL. With that being said, he has not had very many field goal opportunities this year. He has only had five field attempts. He has made all five, but he still is not spending much time on the field. The man from Japan has one of the strongest legs in the league and has kicked a career-high 54-yard field goal. I expect him to make the longest field goal against the Jets on one of his very few opportunities.

Cordarrelle Patterson Over 46.5 Recieving Yards

Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson is one of the few running backs in the NFL with more receiving yards than rushing yards. In his case, it is not even close. He has 235 receiving yards and 119 rushing yards. He is currently averaging 58.8 receiving yards per game and 82 receiving yards in the last two games. The averages are pointing to a very obvious trend here. The man with one of the longest names in the NFL knows how to catch a football and will end up with more than 46.5 receiving yards against the Jets.

Zach Wilson Under 9.5 Rushing Yards

New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson had the best game of his career last week. He threw for 297 passing yards and two touchdowns in a 27-24 overtime win against the Tennessee Titans. The one thing he did not do was run the ball. He tried to run the ball a couple of times. It did not go well. On three rush attempts, he had -2 rushing yards. I do not think it is much of a stretch to say that the man with 19 career rushing yards will not rush for more than 9.5 yards against the Falcons. I love to see a quarterback who can run the ball as much as the next guy, but Zach Wilson is not that guy.
