New York Jets vs. Green Bay Packers Player Prop Picks
The New York Jets visit the Green Bay Packers in Week 6 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. The Jets won last week against the Dolphins in a blowout, while the Packers lost a very close one to the Giants in London. This should be an interesting game because of all that. Let’s take a look at some player prop bets that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns
This seems like an easy prop bet to make. The Packers just lost a really close game to the Giants, so this feels like the perfect rebound spot for the Packers to be in. I’d expect the Packers to get back to the ground game more, and because of that Rodgers can pick on the defense more for touchdowns too. Rodgers has thrown two touchdowns in a game in every game except the first one. I expect that production to go up in this game also because the Jets have not been great on defense, but they have been better. It also just feels like a prime bounce back game for the team as a whole. Maybe I’m buying too much into Rodgers being better here, but I like this bet a lot in this game. Aaron Rodgers has been up and down this year a little bit, but put some money down here.
Breece Hall Over 52.5 Rushing Yards
Breece Hall had a breakout game last week. He had 97 yards rushing and also 100 yards receiving, so this number seems pretty easy to get for him. Hall also seems like he’s now the primary running back for the the New York Jets, after eclipsing Michael Carter in snaps. He has 56 carries, 275 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns on the season so far. His best game was last week against the Dolphins where he had 97 rushing yards and had one touchdown. The volume of carries is going to go up too and that alone is going to help Hall get that over too. The Packers are also allowing 126 rushing yards a game, so Hall could easily go over the total because of that too. I love this bet, especially after last week for Hall.
Aaron Jones Over 66.5 Rushing Yards
Aaron Jones is the x-factor for the Packers and for their offense to take that next step. Without Davante Adams, Aaron Jones instantly becomes even that more important for the Packers. He has 61 carries, 390 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown on the year so far too. His best game was in Week 2 against the Bears when he had 132 rushing yards and one touchdown. The Jets’ rushing defense on the other hand is giving up 114 rushing yards a game, so Aaron Jones has a very good chance to get that over because of that too. I love this bet because it also seems like a game where the Packers pound the ball with the run game a lot. This is one of the best bets to make this weekend.
