There has also been an influx of young talent on this roster. Rookies Daxton Hill and Cam Taylor-Britt help shore up what was already one of the best secondaries in the NFL. Would-be second-year player Joseph Ossai has immense upside as a designated pass-rusher after missing all of his rookie season. Jackson Carman should take a significant step forward in his second season.

The Bengals face the 3rd-toughest schedule this year, so it’s understandable if that gives you pause. Such is life as the division winner – you face a first-place schedule. However, there’s reason to believe that this roster should be even better than last year, and it’s difficult to imagine Joe Burrow missing out on the playoffs entirely after his phenomenal sophomore season.
