Early NFL Week 11 Bets to Place

We’ve officially crossed the halfway point of the season as we head into Week 10, and it’s not too early to start thinking about Week 11 bets as teams start to get serious about the playoff picture. Let’s take a look at which bets you might want to lock in before this week’s action moves some of the lines.

Chicago Bears (+4) vs. Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons play just about every game competitively, but it feels like the jury is still out on how decent they are. The Thursday night game against the flailing Panthers is unlikely to prove anything. Giving them four points against an upstart Bears team seems like a stretch.

The Bears have looked much better on the offensive end in recent weeks. Justin Fields is passing the ball more efficiently and just ran for the most yards by a quarterback in any regular season game in NFL history. The defense has fallen behind after trading some key pieces, but it feels like Chicago suddenly has the firepower to go into Atlanta and give the Falcons either a very close game or a loss.

The Bears are set up nicely this weekend at home against the Lions. A win over Detroit might move this line further in their favor.

Kansas City Chiefs (-5.5) vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers aren’t the same team the Chiefs saw back in Week 2, when LA’s only worry was Keenan Allen’s injury. Since then, the injuries have piled up on both sides of the ball, and the status of some of the Chargers’ key weapons will be in question heading into Week 11. If the Chargers flop against the 49ers this weekend, I would expect this line to move further in the direction of the Chiefs.

Kansas City hosts the Jaguars this weekend, which shouldn’t be a major challenge. The 49ers are healthy and positioned well to take care of the Chargers, so I’d feel more comfortable locking in Chiefs -5.5 now.

Las Vegas Raiders (+2.5) vs. Denver Broncos

Yes, the Raiders have had some awful collapses this season. The Ravens proved that the issue can be overcome. Baltimore blew two major leads early in the season but hasn’t had a slip-up since. The Raiders are not the Ravens, but they don’t have to be the Ravens to bounce back against bad teams.

Las Vegas is in solid position to take advantage of a hurting Colts team this weekend, while the Broncos’ ugly offense has a tough task against the Titans’ defense. The Raiders already beat the Broncos once this season, and they’ve shown that their offense is capable of some big moments – they’ve just had a hard time putting it together for a full game.

If this weekend goes as expected for the Raiders and Broncos, I’d expect this line to even out some more. Raiders +2.5 is a nice value today.

Buffalo Bills (-6.5) vs. Cleveland Browns

It feels like this line is the result of the uncertainty surrounding Josh Allen’s injury, which is something you could take advantage of. Allen doesn’t look likely to play in Week 10 but hasn’t yet been ruled out and has reportedly left the door open for playing. If the decision comes down to the wire, it’ll be a good sign that he’ll be ready to go for Week 11 against the Browns.

If you like the way the reports are trending about Allen, it’s better to grab this line early before it goes beyond a touchdown. The Bills at home with a healthy Allen are decisively better than Cleveland and should be able to win by a touchdown or more. Even if Case Keenum is the starter, you never know…Buffalo has a talented, well-coached roster.
