NFL Week 14 Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay Strategy
It’s hard to believe that it’s already Week 14 of the NFL season, but the Sunday Night Football matchup on deck is delightful as the Dolphins and Chargers face off with significant playoff implications. In this article, I’ll build a Same Game Parlay (SGP) for this primetime matchup.
With Same Game Parlays, we can combine multiple player props and wagers on sides and totals to boost our overall payout. Correlation is king with SGPs as we want to find specific wagers that make sense together. In what’s expected to be a high-scoring, back-and-forth affair, there’s plenty of value on the board. Let’s get to work.

NFL Week 14 Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay
Let’s start our SGP with some Justin Herbert action. The Chargers’ quarterback has struggled through this season between injuries to surrounding offensive talent and questionable coaching, but this is a favorable matchup for him. The Dolphins rank 23rd in pass defense DVOA and 25th in success rate.
Herbert will also benefit from the expected return of Mike Williams. While he likely won’t be able to handle his full normal workload, he’s still an excellent contested-catch receiver who can create downfield opportunities against Miami’s man-heavy defense. Look for Williams to come up with a couple of big plays in this game.
FanDuel has Herbert’s passing yardage line at 290.5 yards for -110 odds, but let’s take 300+ passing yards at -102 odds. Herbert has 300 passing yards in just three games all season, but he’s averaging 278.3 passing yards per game, and he’ll be as close to a full complement of offensive support this week as he’s been in a while.
Along with our Herbert props, we’ll target Gerald Everett in this game. The Dolphins have allowed six receptions per game to tight ends, the most in the NFL, and they rank 29th in DVOA against the position. The return of Mike Williams doesn’t hurt Everett too much either as he’s averaging 43.6 receiving yards per game this year with Williams in the lineup.
For the SGP, let’s take Everett over 34.5 receiving yards. Everett has been over that number in three of his last five games, and in what should be a pass-heavy, high-paced game, I like his chances to hit that number again this week. Let’s also take his touchdown prop at +320 odds. The Dolphins have allowed the fourth-most touchdowns to tight ends, and Everett has 11 red-zone targets this season.
Finally, it makes sense to add the Chargers +3.5 in this game. In the type of game I’m expecting here, this could come down to the final possession, and getting any sort of points with the home team presents a value. I’ve bemoaned Brandon Staley all season and the coaching edge lies with Miami, but I’ll take the points with Herbert against the Dolphins who are playing their second straight game on the West Coast.
Put it all together, and we have a simple four-leg SGP that looks very enticing:
- Justin Herbert 300+ Passing Yards (-102)
- Gerald Everett Over 34.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
- Gerald Everett Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+320)
- Los Angeles Chargers +3.5 (-118)
Full SGP Odds: +1285 ($10 wins $128.54)
