NFL Week 4 Bills vs. Ravens Same Game Parlay Strategy (10/2/22)
In a Week 4 NFL slate with plenty of high-profile action, this game might be the most exciting. Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are arguably the two frontrunners for the MVP award in the early part of the season, and their offenses have plenty of dynamic playmakers. In this game between two contenders, there should be plenty of opportunities to build a Same Game Parlay.
One thing that will absolutely matter for this game is the weather. The forecast shows an 80% chance of rain and wind of 15 miles per hour. Those conditions would hamper the passing games of both teams, and it would favor the run game. For the time being, I’m not letting those concerns impact my analysis here too much, but keep an eye on the weather report to make sure it’s not getting worse than initially expected.

NFL Week 4 Bills vs. Ravens Same Game Parlay
I grabbed the Ravens at +3.5 earlier in the week, and I don’t mind betting them at +3, the current number. Buffalo is dealing with a litany of injuries on both sides of the ball, and they’re also coming off a draining loss to the Dolphins in the heat and humidity of South Florida. I’ll take the Ravens +3 as the foundation for our SGP. If you want to buy it to the 3.5-point line, feel free, but you’ll be giving up some of your potential payout.
Next, I’m looking to play a Lamar Jackson prop. Jackson has been incredible as of late, running for over 100 yards in each of the last two games, and his rushing yardage prop is still only set at 53.5. Buffalo ranks top-five in rush defense DVOA, but they will have to devote additional resources to the secondary given their injuries on the back end.
I’m also loving the number you’re getting on Rashod Bateman in this game. His receiving yardage prop will become a main page play for me as soon as I feel more comfortable about the weather. Buffalo will be without Tre’Davious White and Micah Hyde for this game, and Jordan Poyer, Christian Benford, and Dane Jackson could be joining them on the sidelines.
Bateman has gone over 47.5 yards in every game this season, and it hasn’t taken long for him to develop strong chemistry with Jackson as the new WR1 for this team. Buffalo will struggle to get pressure on the mobile Jackson down key defensive linemen, especially with Jackson’s elite play against the blitz this season, and Bateman has plenty of juice as a YAC player, as well.
If you’d like to add in either Jackson or Bateman to score a touchdown in this game, you can juice your odds, and of course there are opportunities to further build out the SGP with Bills props. However, I’m keeping this simple with our two Ravens props and Baltimore to cover the three-point spread.
With those Ravens’ bets put together, let’s take a look at our simple three-leg SGP:
- Baltimore Ravens +3 (-110)
- Lamar Jackson Over 53.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
- Rashod Bateman Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Full SGP Odds: +408 ($10 wins $40.86)
