I’m on the West Coast, and I can’t wait for the 6 AM wake-up call to watch these two fringe playoff teams duke it out. You know what will make it even better? NFL Week 4 Vikings vs. Saints Same Game Parlay

I made the Vikings -2.5 a best bet for this week, but my handicap was based on Jameis Winston’s injuries and career struggles against zone coverage, which Minnesota runs at a high rate. However, while Andy Dalton changes the Vikings’ game plan somewhat, I still like them to come away with the win here. For the purposes of this SGP, we’ll just use their Moneyline at -164 on FanDuel to simplify things.

On the Saints’ side, I’m targeting Chris Olave in this matchup. He surprisingly leads all wide receivers with 536 air yards, and the next-closest player is Diontae Johnson with 368. Last week was his breakout game with 147 receiving yards. While Dalton won’t push the ball downfield nearly as often as Winston, the absence of Michael Thomas this week means the Saints will need to find creative ways to get Olave the ball.

On the Vikings’ side, I’m going back to Justin Jefferson. I understand that it’s been frustrating the last couple of weeks, and the matchup isn’t ideal against Marshon Lattimore, but Jefferson finished with six catches for 85 yards against Lattimore in their lone meeting in 2020. Jefferson said he wants to do his “first Griddy in another continent” this week, and you’re getting strong value on him to do exactly that.

NFL Week 4 Vikings vs. Saints Same Game Parlay Bankroll Builder

I also believe this game presents an excellent opportunity for a bankroll builder. I believe this can be a great matchup for Alvin Kamara, particularly as the Vikings have struggled to defend the run – they rank 31st in rushing defense DVOA. Kamara has had a slow start to the year, but the Saints will likely lean on the ground game without Winston and Thomas this week. I’ll grab his alt line at 40+ rushing yards for -270 odds.

For the other part of our bankroll builder, I’m targeting some alternate lines on Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson. Of course, the quarterback and receiver provide us excellent correlation, and Cousins should be successful this week against a defense that has generated pressure at the second-lowest rate in the league. We’ll use Cousins at 200+ passing yards and Jefferson at 60+ receiving yards here.
