Packers Vs. Bills (10/30/22) Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay Strategy + SGP Picks

The Sunday Night Football game this week features two teams headed in opposite directions after playoff defeats saw their Super Bowl aspirations spoiled last year. The Bills are the current favorite to win the Super Bowl while the Packers are slipping out of playoff contention on the heels of a surprising losing streak.

In this article, I’ll build a Same Game Parlay (SGP) for the upcoming game. SGPs offer you the opportunity to combine multiple wagers from the same game to boost your overall value. In this Packers vs. Bills game, there are plenty of enticing options. Let’s get to work.

NFL Week 8 Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay

The Bills are laying over ten points at home coming off their bye week, and while the Packers are coming off three straight ugly losses, I believe they are the right side here. Sharp money has pushed this line down from 11.5 to 10.5 points across the board, and I’d expect it to close closer to 9.5 or 10 by kickoff. To start our SGP, I’ll take the Packers +10.5.

If the Packers are going to keep this game close, they’ll need to find consistent offense from somewhere. That likely won’t be Allen Lazard, as he’s been ruled out. Meanwhile, Randall Cobb is on the Injured Reserve list and Christian Watson is listed as questionable. However, last week the Packers figured out what we knew all along – Aaron Jones is an excellent pass-catcher and should be the focal point of their passing offense.

Jones had nine catches for 53 yards last week, and he scored two touchdowns in the game. I like him to continue that strong momentum this week against a Bills’ defense that ranks 15th in pass defense DVOA against running backs. You can get Jones to score a touchdown at +150 odds on DraftKings, and you can get +115 odds on Jones over 34.5 receiving yards.

If you want to end your SGP there, you’re already looking at +575 odds on DraftKings, and there’s excellent correlation between those props for obvious reasons. However, I’m looking to bolster our SGP’s payout with a Bills player prop. People will gravitate towards Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs props, but I like Devin Singletary to have a big game here.

The Bills gave Singletary the rock in their game against the Chiefs prior to the bye week, and he came through with 85 rushing yards on 17 attempts. This week, he faces the Packers’ poor run defense that ranks 31st in DVOA and 29th in success rate allowed. You can get his rushing yardage prop at 59.5 for +105 odds, and that’s pretty cheap compared to what he’s capable of if the Bills commit to the ground game this week.

Put it all together, and we have a four-leg SGP that looks very enticing. Remember, these SGPs aren’t nearly as consistent as placing bets on spreads or over-under totals, so I’d recommend putting at most a quarter or half unit on this:

  • Green Bay Packers +10.5 (-105)
  • Aaron Jones Over 34.5 Receiving Yards (+115)
  • Aaron Jones Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+150)
  • Devin Singletary Over 59.5 Rushing Yards (+105)

Full SGP Odds: +1600 ($10 wins $160)
