PFL Signs FanDuel As Official US Betting Partner For World Tournament, Champions Series
The Professional Fighters League announced Thursday that FanDuel will serve as the official US sports betting partner for its World Tournament and Champions Series.
FanDuel will provide the official sports betting odds across fights for those events, beginning tonight in the semifinals of the World Tournament in Nashville. PFL called the partnership a “major step forward” in working live betting data into the league’s broadcasts.
“We’re thrilled to partner with FanDuel as we look to advance the sport by delivering a premium and unique betting experience to the millions of passionate MMA fans in the US,” said Mike Chioditti, the PFL’s senior VP of new business. “Betting is a key engagement driver for today’s sports audience, and through this partnership, we’re delivering unrivaled access to our fans.”
The World Tournament continues through the finals on Aug. 21, while the next Champions Series event is July 19.
FanDuel branding throughout the events
For FanDuel, the deal means branding both in and around the cage as well as the exclusive rights to use the league’s logos. The sportsbook will also be the presenting sponsor of the Tale of the Tape, the pre-fight breakdown of each fighter.
FanDuel and the PFL will also collaborate on exclusive content across social and digital platforms.
“We are excited to bring our new partnership to life and collaborate with the league to enhance the experience of wagering on PFL events,” said Karol Corcoran, senior VP and GM of FanDuel. “As our partnership kicks off, we look forward to offering passionate MMA fans another way to engage with their favorite athletes.”
