Jalen Hurts o54.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Jalen Hurts is the offense in Philadelphia. Not only is he the facilitator as the quarterback, but he is also the leading rusher on the team. In his games against the Falcons and 49ers, he rushed for 62 and 82 yards, respectively. This means that this wager would have hit both Week 1 and 2 for Hurts. Looking ahead to Monday Night, in what Vegas is predicting to be a high-scoring affair with a 51 point over/under, Hurts should once again rely heavily on his legs to pick up yards. The Dallas defense is nothing to be scared of, ranking 22nd in overall defensive DVOA and 14th in rush DVOA, and I foresee Hurts succeeding both in the air and on the ground. There is no reason that Hurts should struggle to rush the ball after succeeding against a much better 49er front-7.

Amari Cooper Anytime Scorer (-105)

Amari Cooper had a fantastic first game of the season, tallying two TDs, but disappeared in the Chargers game after getting banged up. With Gallup still out, the Cowboys will once again feature Cooper and Lamb as the prime targets of the offense. The Cowboys have an implied point total of 27.5-28 points, depending on the book. That is four touchdowns up for grabs, and Cooper, the number one for Dak, should be grabbing one of these touchdowns. Cooper’s matchup against Darius Slay is something to note, but not a major concern as Mike McCarthy can move Cooper around to create favorable matchups, especially in the red zone.

DeVonta Smith o4.5 Receptions (+120)

DeVonta Smith is clearly the number one target on this Eagles offense and is extraordinarily talented. Smith has received 8 and 7 targets in his first two NFL games. In this third, where the game is projected to be high-scoring and close, Smith should be on pace for 9 to 11 targets. Giving Smith 8+ targets, even with an inaccurate Jalen Hurts at the helm, should lead to 5 catches on the day. Smith is a special talent that creates space and has incredible hands. With +100 to +120 odds, I am slamming the over on receptions with DeVonta Smith.

Ezekiel Elliot u2.5 Receptions (-110)

Zeke is no longer the bell-cow back for the Cowboys. Tony Pollard is clearly in the game plan, and the offense relies heavily on both CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper. There are only so many touches to distribute through a game, and the Cowboys have made it clear that they do not plan to use Zeke in the passing game. The design screens and swings always seem to find Pollard. On top of this, when passing, Dak is constantly looking for the chunk play to one of his elite WRs, instead of checking down to Elliot. With Zeke’s snap count trending down, only registering 71% last game, I do not believe Zeke will be catching three passes in this Monday Night Matchup.
