Aaron Rodgers Over 258.5 Passing Yards
After an abysmal Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints, Packers fans were able to breathe a sigh of relief as quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned to form in the last two weeks. He has thrown for six touchdowns and completed 75% of his passes in Weeks 2 and 3. He is only going to get better from this point on. That means that Rodgers will continue to throw touchdowns, maybe rush for a few yards, and increase the number of passing yards he throws for. He has a tough matchup this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but will throw for more than 258.5 passing yards.
Ben Roethlisberger Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has struggled to throw touchdowns this season. He has a low quarterback rating (QBR) and has thrown only one touchdown in each game of the season so far. Roethlisberger’s completion percentage has not been high enough for him to throw a lot of touchdowns. I expect that to change this Sunday against the Packers. The Packers defense is not as strong as some of the Steelers past defensive opponents. The Packers defense is not bad, they are just not good enough to stop Roethlisberger from scoring two touchdowns.
Aaron Jones Under 63.5 Rush Yards
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones has been relatively productive this year averaging 3.9 yards per carry. He has the most responsibility among the Packers’ running backs but faces a difficult Steelers defense this Sunday. Even though he rushed for 82 yards and one touchdown last week, he will struggle against a menacing Steelers defensive line this week. The offense is going to rely on QB Aaron Rodgers more than normal to weather the storm against these Steelers. I do not expect Jones to have enough opportunities to have more than 63.5 rushing yards.
Devante Adams Over 7.5 Receptions
Like Aaron Rodgers, Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has only gotten better through the first three weeks of the season. Even though he only has one touchdown, he has 25 receptions for 309 yards. 20 of those 25 receptions have come in the last two games. The four-time Pro Bowler is by far his quarterback’s favorite target. I would expect that to continue this week. Adams has proved himself as one of the league’s top wide receivers and gets the football a lot because of that, and after his 12 reception game last week, I would not be surprised if he has 10 or more receptions against the Steelers.
Green Bay Packers Longest Field Goal Made
Packers kicker Mason Crosby has been kicking field goals in Green Bay since his rookie year in 2007. Over his career, he has proved himself a reliable kicker. This season is no different; Crosby is 4-4 on field goal attempts with two of them being over 50 yards. His team knows that he can kick it through the uprights from far distances. QB Aaron Rodgers will be able to push the ball down the field, but he will need Crosby to help him out by kicking some long field goals.
