Indianapolis Colts vs Chicago Bears

The Indianapolis Colts (2-1) take on the Chicago Bears (3-0) this Sunday at 1:00 PM EST. The Colts are coming off of a blowout win against the lowly New York Jets by a score of 36-7. The Bears are coming off of another dramatic come from behind against the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 30-26.

The Colts are a team that has an above-average offense to go along with one of the best defenses in the NFL. While they do have a solid backfield in Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines (despite losing Marlon Mack for the season), the Colts actually have a better passing offense that ranks ninth in the NFL. However, quarterback Philip Rivers is looking like his vintage self as he already has thrown three interceptions on the year to go along with just three touchdowns and a modest 794 yards.

The Bears offense got a shot in the arm this past Sunday as Nick Foles came in to replace Mitchell Trubisky. Foles helped lead the comeback as he went 16/29 for 188 yards and three touchdowns. Now with Foles looking like the new leader behind center, this offense will look to improve on its 22nd-ranked passing offense.

Defensively, the Colts are among the league’s best through the first three games. They rank first in total yards allowed, passing yards allowed, and points allowed. For Chicago, their defense hasn’t been as good as many would have expected it to be at this point.
