Betting Advice Chicago Bears +2
When I first saw this spread I thought it was a mistake. The Bears are going into Carolina as underdogs. Many analysts are claiming the Bears to be a terrible 4-1 team and blaming luck as the reason for the record. However, they just took down the massively hyped up Buccaneers and Tom Brady on Thursday Night Football.
The Bears’ defense is legit. Khalil Mack is still one of the greatest talents in the NFL and will be getting to Teddy Bridgewater all day. I do not see a world in which Teddy is ever going to have enough time in this game to target Moore, Anderson, or Samuel down the field. Meanwhile, Christian McCaffrey might be back, but that should not scare Bears’ fans. The Bears will be able to rally to CMC, and stop him from having a huge day. This defense has talent and speed all over.
Nick Foles has had his struggles; however, he had no pre-season games and a limited camp. Now that he has had an extra-long week and some games to build chemistry with his WRs, I believe that he can be a good QB for this Bears’ offense. He has weapons all around him and will be going up against an extremely weak defense. Allen Robinson, Darnell Mooney, and Anthony Miller should all be able to get open for Nick Foles to throw down the field.
Not only do I think that the Bears cover, I think that they win this game big. 24-13 Bears over the Panthers.
