Raynham Park Plans To Launch Retail Caesars Sportsbook

Another major sports betting market is looking to start out in 2023! The year started with a bang, as the Ohio sports betting launch brought some of the top names in wagering to the Buckeye State. Additionally, 2022 saw the rollout of some highly successful betting markets in areas such as New York, Ontario, Kansas, Maryland, and Louisiana.
Now, with Massachusetts sports betting available sooner rather than later, major sports betting operators are making moves to get in on the action. Let’s take a look at how Massachusetts will open its very own retail Caesars Sportsbook.
Caesars Partnering With Raynham Park on Retail Sportsbook
It’s just been announced that Caesars Entertainment and Raynham Park have officially partnered up! Caesars Entertainment, the company behind the betting platform Caesars Sportsbook and such historic casinos as Caesars Caesars Palace Las Vegas, is looking to break ground on a new retail sports betting facility in Massachusetts.
The in-person sportsbook will be located at Raynham Park, a simulcast racing location in Raynham, Massachusetts. Caesars Sportsbook retail betting will be available at a temporary spot at Raynham Park before the launch of a full sportsbook.
The planned retail sports betting location will be 30,000 square feet, offering sports betting and racetrack betting to guests. Keep in mind that the Massachusetts Gaming Commission will need to approve these plans.

Massachusetts Sports Betting Is Coming Soon!
Sports bettors in Massachusetts won’t have to wait too long to start placing wagers on their favorite teams. Retail sports betting is launching on January 31st, meaning anyone that’s 21 years of age or older will be able to go to a physical location to place wagers.
And around March, some of the top sports betting apps are also expected to roll out in the state in addition to Caesars Sportsbook, such as DraftKings Sportsbook, Bally Bet Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, PointsBet Sportsbook, Betr Sportsbook, and Betway Sportsbook.
The betting market could be massive in the state, with a population of nearly seven million people. Plus, the state is home to some major fans of local teams like the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, and Boston Red Sox.
There should be an especially large handle on the Celtics and Bruins, who are both currently favored to win championships right now. Caesars Sportsbook lists the Boston Celtics at +360 to win the NBA Championship and the Boston Bruins at +400 to win the Stanley Cup.
Unfortunately, betting on in-state college sports teams such as the Boston College Eagles and Havard Crimson will be prohibited.

More Retail Sportsbooks Opening Up
The news of the upcoming Caesars Sportsbook at Raynham Park is far from the only retail sports betting news we’ve seen as of late. In fact, FedEx Field (home of the Washington Commanders) just opened its very own retail sports betting facility, making it the first pro football stadium with an in-person sportsbook.
Plus, the rollout of Ohio sports betting saw plenty of different retail sportsbooks take their very first bets, such as the Hard Rock Cincinnati Sportsbook and the Caesars Sportsbook at Scioto Downs. With the Super Bowl coming up, expect Massachusetts to see some major retail sports betting numbers.
