Saints Vs. Cardinals (10/20/22) Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay Strategy + SGP Picks

As we head into Week 7 of the NFL season, the Thursday Night Football game appears to be much more exciting on the surface. On one side, we have Kyler Murray getting top receiver DeAndre Hopkins back in the lineup, albeit with Marquise Brown out for the foreseeable future with an injury. On the other, we have Alvin Kamara and rookie standout Chris Olave ready to make a splash.

In this article, I’ll build a Same Game Parlay (SGP) that highlights the best correlative values for this game. SGPs provide the opportunity to gain extra value in your wagers by combining multiple bets together for a big payout! We’ve been so close to hitting these primetime SGPs as of late, missing by one leg regularly, but I love the value I found in this Thursday Night Football game. Let’s get to work.

Saints Vs. Cardinals Same Game Parlay Monday Night Football

The bulk of our value in this SGP will derive from the player props markets, but I want to buoy the SGP with some alternate lines on the spread and total. First, I’m taking the Saints +3.5. The Cardinals have been a mess as of late, and I don’t believe Kliff Kingsbury is long for Arizona. I’d lean towards taking the Saints +2.5 on the normal spread, but let’s secure that field goal on the alternate spread for our SGP.

Next, I’m taking the under at 50.5 points for -295 value. I already locked in under 45 in the full game, but we can push it out to a larger total to get some extra security in our SGP. Again, the bulk of our value comes from player props here, but we can stabilize the SGP with an under that I believe has a very high chance of hitting.

The first player prop I’m taking in this SGP is Chris Olave over 63.5 receiving yards at a line of -113. I took his receiving yardage line at 59.5 yards in our player props article, but I’m fine with this number as I truly believe he can get to 80+ yards in this game. Arizona has the 32nd-ranked coverage unit according to PFF, and Olave is in the midst of an excellent rookie season where he’s averaging 77.8 yards per game. With Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry expected to be out this week, look for Olave to have a big game.

I’m also taking Kyler Murray under 242.5 passing yards. I wanted to take his rushing yardage over here, but FanDuel doesn’t have it listed at the time I’m writing this article. Instead, I’ll take the under on his passing yards as the offense will hurt from the loss of Marquise Brown. While DeAndre Hopkins is returning this week, he will need to shake off some rust. Murray has been under this number in two of his last three games. The Saints rank fifth in third-down defense, so they will be able to limit the length of Arizona’s drives.

Put it all together, and we have a simple four-leg SGP that looks very enticing:

  • New Orleans Saints +3.5 (-162)
  • Under 50.5 Total Points (-295)
  • Chris Olave Over 63.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
  • Kyler Murray Under 242.5 Passing Yards (-113)

Full SGP Odds: +678 ($10 wager wins $67.80)
