What Is K22?
On Nov. 30, SB22, a leader in the sports betting technology space, announced the launch of its newest sports betting solution, K22. This fully automated solution allows operators of all sizes to offer cost-effective and competitive retail sportsbooks.
It’s revolutionizing the way sportsbooks conduct business through the introduction of tick in-ticket out (TITO) functionality. With TITO, casinos can operate sportsbook kiosks like slot machines, and equip them with coupons, bonuses, custom promotions, and drawings, while streamlining the accounting protocols.
“K22 is the first true self-service retail technology that allows operators to offer a profitable sportsbook without significant operational overhead and capital investment,” said Vladimir Jovanovic, Chief Operating Officer of SB22. “This is an industry game changer as even smaller casino operators can offer their own sportsbook and control their brand and player experience.”
Fi22 Connection
K22 is an advancement of its Fi22 Sportsbook Platform, which was certified by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) last month. Fi22 is a digital wagering platform featuring a built-in player account management module, advanced betting engine, and an omni-channel experience for its users. The platform even launched a patent-pending Apple Watch wagering app. This expansion links the digital (Fi22) and retail (K22) sports betting experience.
“With over 950 combined Commercial and Tribal casinos in the US, retail sports betting is a major market with significant growth ahead.” Vik Shrestha, Chief Commercial Officer of SB22, said. “Advanced capabilities including linking a casino account to a sports betting account and even a Free to Play engagement app, enables operators to seamlessly cross-promote and drive revenues across their entire business.”
Other SB22 Developments
Earlier this month, SB22 announced a strategic partnership with Japan-based Bay City Ventures to offer its VR22 and Fi22 sportsbook platforms in the lucrative Japanese market. These platforms will offer free-to-play immersive betting experiences until real money gaming is regulated. In return, Bay City Ventures will provide business development solutions, distribution, and advisory services while working to move the platforms into other verticals such as live events and tourism.
Who Is SB22?
“SB22 and its management team are not just thought leaders in the sports betting and gaming industry; they’re delivering the goods,” said Sam Humphreys, CEO of London Bay Capital. “This is just one more example of how SB22 is setting the pace on the technology front.”
