Steelers Vs. Browns (9/22/22) Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay Strategy + Picks

It’s hard to believe that it’s already Week 3 of the NFL season, but we’re here and we have an intriguing matchup between AFC North rivals on Thursday night. While there may not be offensive fireworks, that doesn’t mean there can’t be value in the player props department. This article will discuss the best options for a Same Game Parlay for Thursday Night Football.

Same Game Parlays provide you with the opportunity to combine multiple wagers together for a larger payout. This can be a great way to add excitement to your viewing experience for a primetime game. As always, think about the props or game outcomes you choose and make sure you’re selecting wagers with correlation – in other words, bets that are likely to happen in conjunction with one another. Let’s dive in.

Steelers Vs. Browns NFL Week 3 Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay

While the offense has been anemic, I like the Steelers to cover in this game. While Kevin Stefanski has been solid as the Browns’ head coach, he’s gone 1-11 ATS against AFC North opponents. Meanwhile, the Steelers are 20-6-2 ATS as an underdog against AFC North opponents under Mike Tomlin.

In addition, I like the under on the points total in this game. Neither offense has inspired confidence this season, but we also have the added insight that primetime unders are 6-1 this season. In addition, Thursday Night Football games with a total of 40 or below are 18-5 to the under since 2010.

Finally, I’m adding one of my favorite player props for this game with Nick Chubb. The Browns’ running back has averaged 114 rushing yards per game so far this season and he’s averaging 90.3 yards over his last ten games dating back to last season. The Pittsburgh run defense reverted to last year’s porous unit last week as they allowed Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson to combine for just under 5 YPC.

Put it all together, and we have a simple three-leg SGP that looks very enticing:

  • Pittsburgh Steelers +4.5 (-110)
  • Under 38.5 Total Points (-110)
  • Nick Chubb Over 84.5 Rushing Yards (-113)

Full SGP Odds: +905 ($10 wins $90.57)

NFL Week 3 Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay Bankroll Builder

In these articles, I include a bankroll builder parlay where I combine multiple low-odds wager to work back to even money. This game provides an excellent opportunity to do so despite the seemingly low-octane offensive talent on both sides. Let’s take a look.

First, I like to include alternate lines on the spread and over/under. I’m adding in the under on 49.5 points and the Steelers at +16.5. Regardless of how you feel about the traditional lines in this game, it’s difficult to envision the Browns winning by 17 points or more or there being a combined 50 points here.

Next, I’m adding Diontae Johnson over 25 receiving yards, a number he’s hit in every game dating back to November 2020. Finally, we’ll go back to Nick Chubb and add him at 50+ rushing yards, a number he’s hit in both games so far this year and in all but one game last season.

Full Bankroll Builder on FanDuel:

  • Pittsburgh Steelers +16.5 (-530)
  • Under 49.5 Total Points (-560)
  • Diontae Johnson 25+ Receiving Yards (-900)
  • Nick Chubb 50+ Rushing Yards (-850)
