Super Bowl LVI: FanDuel Same Game Parlay Strategy

Super Bowl LVI has arrived! The Lineups staff has you covered with awesome betting content all week to get you ready for the big game, and there are tons of exciting avenues to explore in placing wagers. In this article, I’ll discuss my thought process in placing a Same Game Parlay (SGP) with FanDuel Sportsbook. Arguably the leader in the SGP space, FanDuel has a breadth of features to help you place an exciting SGP. If you’re unfamiliar, SGPs allow you to select multiple outcomes from the same game and parlay them together for a great payout!

How Do I Place a Same Game Parlay On FanDuel?

The following are instructions on how to place a Same Game Parlay on the FanDuel Sportsbook mobile application or desktop site:

  • First, find the matchup on FanDuel Sportsbook that you’d like to place a SGP for. In this case, we’re looking for Super Bowl LVI, which should be easily located in the navigation menu.
  • Next, locate props that are eligible for SGPs. FanDuel has made it very easy to find such props as they have the blue and green SGP logo on them.
  • Once you have found a bet you’d like to include in your SGP, select it to add it to your bet slip. Keep in mind that some wagers aren’t eligible to be parlayed together. For example, you can’t include both the Rams -4.5 and the Rams ML in your SGP.
  • Finally, enter the amount you’d like to wager on your SGP and click submit to place your bet!

Super Bowl Same Game Parlay Strategy & Picks

  • Los Angeles Rams ML
  • Matthew Stafford 300+ Passing Yards
  • Odell Beckham Jr. 100+ Receiving Yards
  • Odell Beckham Jr. to Score a Touchdown

Total Odds: +1363

The Rams are currently listed as 4.5-point favorites, and in my score projection of 28-17, I have them winning by 11 points. However, we’ll keep it simple for this SGP and just include their ML as we’re getting the extra value from the player props we’re placing. When you put together a SGP, you want to look for props that have correlations. In other words, you want outcomes that are likely to happen in conjunction with one another. We’re targeting Matthew Stafford and his emerging wideout Odell Beckham Jr.

Matthew Stafford has been on fire the past two weeks as he’s averaging 351.5 passing yards per game over that span. The Bengals have allowed 248.4 passing yards per game this year, the seventh-most in the NFL, and the Rams haven’t been very successful running the ball. Look for Stafford to have another game with impressive passing volume, and the 300-yard threshold shouldn’t be too difficult for him to cross.

A big game for Stafford plays into Odell Beckham Jr. having another big game as he did last week with 113 yards against the 49ers, his first 100-yard game of the year. Cooper Kupp is Stafford’s top target, and he’ll obviously be involved in this game, but the Bengals will be doing everything in their power to slow him down. With Eli Apple likely to be spending a lot of time covering OBJ, I love his ability to come down with 100 yards and a touchdown in this game.

At +1363 odds, this Same Game Parlay should have significant legs, and I love the correlative nature of playing Stafford and OBJ together along with the Rams’ ML. You can place a $10 bet on this SGP to win $136.3, making your Super Bowl Sunday all the more exciting. Sign up for FanDuel Sportsbook today to place exciting SGPs like this one!
