Super Bowl LVI: Joe Mixon Player Props

Get Joe Mixon player props for Super Bowl LVI. Most of the attention in Cincinnati is on Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase, and rightfully so. However, Joe Mixon deserves credit for his ability to produce in both the rushing and receiving game. In the Bengals ‘ three postseason games, Mixon has averaged over 100 yards from scrimmage. This week in a conversation with the media, Mixon said it feels like he’s living in a movie right now after spending five years in Cincinnati. Can Mixon help his team continue its recent momentum into a Super Bowl win? You can use the Joe Mixon player prop search tool below to find the best odds in your market on Mixon props.

Joe Mixon Player Props

Joe Mixon Over/Under 62.5 Rushing Yards

While Mixon is an incredibly talented running back, he hasn’t had the rushing volume you might expect lately. He’s averaging just 60.2 rushing yards per game over his last five games and has gone under 62.5 yards in six of his previous eight games. The Rams have allowed just 103.2 rushing yards per game, the sixth-fewest in the NFL, and the Bengals are at a significant deficit with their offensive line compared to the Rams’ defensive line. Running the ball won’t be an excellent option for the Bengals in this game or even much of an opportunity, and I’d bet on his under in rushing yardage.

The Pick: Bet Under 62.5 Rushing Yards

Joe Mixon Over/Under 16.5 Rushing Attempts

The Rams’ elite run defense will make it difficult for Cincy to run the ball, especially behind their poor offensive line. The Bengals were committed to establishing the run earlier in the season, but that has gone away in recent weeks. Mixon has hit the over on this prop in 12 of 19 games this season, but he’s averaging 16.4 rushing attempts over his last five games. The best path for the Bengals to win this game is to throw the ball more than run it, and while Mixon should see significant involvement in the passing game, I’m leaning the under on his rushing volume here.

The Pick: Lean Under 16.5 Rushing Attempts

Joe Mixon Over/Under 3.5 Receptions

The Bengals have utilized Mixon frequently in the passing game down the stretch this season, and he’s been a productive outlet for Joe Burrow with the offensive line faltering. Mixon has averaged 5.2 receptions per game over his last five games, and he’s gone over 3.5 receptions in four of his previous five games. You can also look at over/under 25.5 receiving yards, a line he has gone over in five straight games. With the Rams’ pass-rush bearing down on Burrow, Mixon will likely be critical in the passing game in the Super Bowl. You’ll have to drink some juice on this prop, but I’d still bet the over.

The Pick: Bet Over 3.5 Receptions

Joe Mixon Anytime TD Scorer

The touchdowns haven’t come for Mixon as frequently lately, as he’s scored in just two of his last seven games. In the playoffs, he’s scored just one touchdown in three games. Mixon has received 67.2% of the Bengals’ red-zone rushing attempts, and he’s scored 11 times on those looks, but I don’t have Cincinnati scoring many points in this game. My score prediction is 28-17 in favor of the Rams, and I don’t see enough reason to bet Mixon to score at even odds.

The Pick: Don’t Bet Anytime TD Scorer
