Super Bowl LVI: Tee Higgins Player Props
Contents
Get Tee Higgins player props for Super Bowl LVI and compare odds across multiple sportsbooks. While Ja’Marr Chase has stolen the spotlight in Cincinnati this season, we shouldn’t forget that Tee Higgins is an elite pass-catcher in his own right. Higgins had a slow start to the year as he overcame an injury, but he’s been elite to close the year and led the way against the Chiefs in the AFC Championship with six catches for 103 yards. With the Rams’ primary defensive attention on Chase, will Higgins have another big game on Sunday?
Tee Higgins Player Props
Tee Higgins Over/Under 5.5 Receptions
Higgins went over 5.5 receptions in just one of his first four games of the season, but in his final 13 games, he’s hit this number seven times – that’s a 53.8% hit rate. That stretch includes 13 total receptions over the Bengals’ last two games. The Rams have an elite defense, but the game script will dictate for heavy involvement from Higgins in this game. The Bengals won’t be able to run the ball, and with Chase seeing the bulk of the defensive attention, Higgins should clear six receptions, especially if the Bengals find themselves in a game script like last week where they are passing their way back into the game.
The Pick: Bet Over 5.5 Receptions
Tee Higgins Over 69.5 Receiving Yards
In each of the Bengals’ last two playoff games, Higgins has gone well over this number with 96 and 103 yards, respectively. After missing the mark in the Bengals’ first five games of the season, he’s gone over this number in 8 of 12 games (75%). While the Rams will likely still play mostly in their base zone sets, we can expect Jalen Ramsey to cover Ja’Marr Chase more often than not. That leaves Higgins with an advantage against either Darious Williams or David Long Jr. With Higgins being an elite talent at the position. He should be able to take advantage of either of those favorable matchups.
The Pick: Bet Over 69.5 Receiving Yards
Tee Higgins Longest Reception Over/Under 24.5 Yards
Not to sound like a broken record, but Higgins has been hitting this prop with ease down the stretch of the season, and his longest reception has been 33.4 yards per game on average over his last five games. However, the Rams don’t make a habit of giving up big plays, and I don’t see this prop as presenting nearly the same value as Higgins’s receptions or yardage totals. You can put a flier on this prop in a Same Game Parlay if you want, but this is not the Higgins market I’m targeting personally.
The Pick: Lean Longest Reception Over 24.5
Tee Higgins Touchdown Scorer
The market has differed significantly on this prop across different sportsbooks, so make sure to compare different books you have available before placing a bet. I like the odds on this prop for Higgins compared to Chase, but I still have concerns about the Bengals’ red zone offense. They’ve converted just 36% of their red-zone trips into touchdowns in the playoffs, and Burrow only has four passing touchdowns across the three playoff games. Higgins at +190 to score on PointsBet is very enticing, but I’m not overwhelmed with this prop given my projection that the Bengals don’t score many times in this game.
The Pick: Lean Yes but Don’t Bet
