Odds to Win SB: 1/15/19

New Orleans Saints (7/4)- The Saints came through in the clutch last week with a late game interception to secure their victory vs the Eagles. This week they will be up against the Rams who showed they can win games on the ground vs the Cowboys. This is a rematch of a game earlier this season and could be the best of the 2 games on the slate.

Kansas City Chiefs (13/5)- The Chiefs shut down all the choking talk last week vs the Colts winning in a game where they weren’t really stressed the whole way through. They have the 2nd best odds for the title and at this point that feels about right. They will be up against the Pats this week who are always tough in the playoffs but the home field advantage should go a long way.

New England Patriots (7/2)- The Patriots silenced the haters saying their dynasty was coming to an end jumping out to a huge lead early vs the Chargers and ultimately coming away with the victory. I’m not sure if there is any “value” at this point but it’s hard to pick against the Patriots knowing what all they have accomplished.

Los Angeles Rams (7/2)- The lone LA team will be on the road this week to take on the Saints and should have their hands full with the elite offense and defense in New Orleans. They lost to the Saints earlier this season and if the Chargers showed us anything, it’s hard to beat a team twice in the NFL. Both teams will have tape on each other and it could ultimately come down to coaching. However, the Rams at 7/2 is still a risky bet especially since they are playing as a road team in the Superdome.

Los Angeles Rams (9/2)- Fresh off of a bye the Rams will host the Cowboys in a highly anticipated NFC showdown. The Rams have stumbled into the playoffs but they will get RB Todd Gurley back and their offense will be at almost full strength. They will need it vs a Cowboys defense that has proven to be very tough throughout the season. The Rams are tied for the 2nd best odds but it is hard to trust them at this point the way they are playing.

New England Patriots (5/1)- The Patriots will host the Chargers on Sunday and it is expected to snow at game time. LA teams in the snow seems like a bad thing to back so if you think the Pats can pull it off you need to hop on this number before it gets any higher. There have been doubts about New England all season but it’s hard not to back Brady and Bill at home in the playoffs.

Philadelphia Eagles (14/1)- The Nick Foles magic continued last week when the Eagles won on a Bears missed kick as time winded down. They will face a tough test on the road vs the Saints this week which is why their number is so high and it will be hard to convince anyone that they can come away with a victory.

Indianapolis Colts (14/1)- The Colts played excellent on the road vs the Texans last week and now they will make the short trip to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs as underdogs. The Chiefs have a history of letting games slip and “choking” in the playoffs which plays in Indy’s favor. Luck has proven to be back to full health and he could put up a lot of yards on the Chiefs underwhelming defense.

Kansas City Chiefs (4/1)- The Chiefs closed out the season well blowing out the Raiders to officially secure the number 1 seed. They will have this week off and will be closely watching who they will be playing next. Their offense is probably the best in the league and that will give them a good chance in every game they play in and is why they have the 2nd best odds at the start of the playoffs.

Chicago Bears (9/1)- The Bears are one of the most intriguing teams in the playoffs this season with their elite defense that is probably the best left in the playoffs. The play of the offense has been better which could make this team a huge threat as the weeks go on.

Los Angeles Chargers (16/1)- The Chargers hype has died down a bit and they will have a tough test in Baltimore against the Ravens this Sunday. It’s hard to beat a team twice in a season and this will be the first time a team will be going up against this new Lamar Jackson led offense twice this season. For the Chargers, whose only road loss came @ Rams this season, 16/1 feels like a valuable number for a team you know can win tough games on the road and have proved it.

Indianapolis Colts (25/1)- A lot of people were impressed by the Colts after their showing on Sunday night vs the Titans. They will face an explosive Texans offense so they will for sure be tested. But in a game between two familiar teams anything is possible, and 25/1 feels like a good number if you think they can win one in Houston.

New England Patriots (5/1)- The Patriots currently sit at the 2 seed and are likely to stay there unless the Chiefs somehow lose to the Raiders in the final week of the season. There is a lot of talk about how the Patriots are declining but if there is one thing we have learned over the last decade or so it’s to never count out this team and they will always show up when it counts. Which is why the books still have them as one of the top teams to win it all.

Baltimore Ravens (20/1)- The Ravens came away with a huge victory against the Chargers on the road last week and now control their destiny in the AFC North. If things hold this way they will host the Chargers in week 1 of the playoffs, a team they have shown that they can beat and are a tough matchup against.

Kansas City Chiefs (4/1)- Kansas City lost last week but it didn’t matter much in their division race with the Chargers losing as well. They should have the number 1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoff barring any unforeseen circumstances. The Chiefs have one of the best offenses in the league and if their defense can hold teams just a little bit they should be right in the thick of things in January.

Dallas Cowboys (30/1)- The Cowboys secured the NFC East division last week and with nothing much to play for they could be resting some key players this Sunday. At 30/1 they are considered long shots at this point but with their elite defense anything is possible especially if they can get QB Dal Prescott going on offense.

Odds to Win SB: 12/18/18

Los Angeles Rams (5/1)- The Rams were dealt a huge blow on Sunday night when they lost to Nick Foles and the Eagles. They have now lost 2 in a row and have officially lost control of the 1 seed to the Saints after they won on Monday night. Their usually high powered offense has been slowed a bit and these last two weeks will be key to see what kind of team the Rams will be heading into the playoffs. If there is any time to hop in on the Rams this might be the best odds you are going to get especially with the Rams playing the Cardinals this week.

Pittsburgh Steelers (14/1)- The Steelers picked up a much needed victory vs the Patriots at home last Sunday and they still sit ½ a game in front of the Ravens for first place in the AFC North. Both the Ravens and Steelers will have tough games this week with Baltimore @ Chargers and Pittsburgh @ Saints. The Steelers are always a threat with their weapons to make big noise in the playoffs and if they can hold onto the division lead that will make them even more of a challenge for opposing teams.

Los Angeles Chargers (7/1)-The Chargers surprised a lot of people with an impressive victory on the road vs the Chiefs last week, they had lost 9 straight vs KC prior to that win. They clinched a playoff spot but still are in the 5thspot due to the tiebreaker to KC despite being tied for the best record in the AFC. They will be tasked with stopping the Ravens run game this week in what will be a great matchup on Saturday night. The Chargers are expected to get Melvin Gordon back this week and won’t be mailing it in to close the season as they want the 1 seed and home field advantage. They would need a Chiefs loss at Seattle and to win out so if you think that will happen this could be a great time to hop on the Chargers before their odds move more in the wrong direction for bettors.

Philadelphia Eagles (100/1)- Can Nick Foles do it again? Foles led the Eagles to a victory vs the Rams on the road when pretty much nobody gave them a chance. He was named the starting QB again this week vs the Texans and with the Redskins the week after that the Eagles may be able to sneak into the playoffs and as we saw last year who knows what can happen. With the Cowboys losing last week they also only sit 1 game back for the NFC East but they would need Dallas to lose to both the Bucs and Giants to close the season which seems unlikely at this point but not impossible. The Eagles are still a longshot in the grand scheme of things but after what we saw on Sunday night there is more hope than most people previously thought.

Dallas Cowboys (20/1)- The Cowboys have surprised a lot of people as they have now won 5 straight and sit at the top of the NFC East comfortably. Their defense has been playing at an elite level and ever since they acquired Amari Cooper the offense has opened up allowing Cooper and Zeke to co-exist. They have a tough matchup this week vs a Colts team that needs a win but I see the Cowboys number getting less and less favorable as the weeks go by.

Chicago Bears (16/1)- The Bears were dominant last Sunday night shutting down the Rams offense that had been one of the best in the league. However, Mitch Trubisky didn’t look sharp and with their elite defense it will be interesting to see in the playoffs if they will be able to score enough points on offense. Chicago will take on the Packers this week in a game that they should win and it will effectively eliminate their division rival.

Seattle Seahawks (25/1)- As is the trend with all the team’s discussed today the Seahawks defense was brilliant vs the Vikings on Monday night holding them to only 7 points giving up a late touchdown that didn’t really matter in the closing minutes. The offense still tends to get stagnant at times but their rushing attack allows them to control the ball and shorten the game. This style of play can be effective vs the team’s with high powered offenses so I think Seattle is a team to watch in the wild card spot.

Baltimore Ravens (40/1)- The Ravens took a loss to the Chiefs on Sunday in OT but with the Steelers also losing they didn’t lose any ground in the division. The AFC race is tight as can be so a division win would be big and with games against the Bucs and Browns to close out the season they have a good chance to win it if the Steelers continue to slip up. Lamar Jackson has added another element to the Ravens offense that hasn’t been seen in quite a while and their defense is still one of the best.

New Orleans Saints (3/1)- The Saints lost a tough one on Thursday night vs the Cowboys but don’t be so quick to judge them based off that performance. Road teams often struggle on the road in Thursday night games and the Cowboys defense is pretty tough so it just didn’t work out well for New Orleans. They still sit at 3/1 and should be able to get back on the winning track vs the Buccaneers this Sunday.

Los Angeles Chargers (9/1)- The Chargers got a HUGE win on Sunday night in Pittsburgh against the Steelers, although it did come with some lucky breaks. People struggled taking LA seriously and on their first game on the big stage they proved they belonged. Rivers was excellent per usual and the Chargers defense was able to clamp down in the second half allowing them to stay in it and ultimately win the game. The Chargers will be at home vs Cincy this week and then have a big Thursday night meeting with the Chiefs the following week.

Dallas Cowboys (30/1)- As was said earlier, the Cowboys got a big win vs New Orleans on Thursday night and their defense is showing that they are one of the best unit’s in the NFL. They sit 1 game ahead of the Eagles for the NFC East lead and they will meet this Sunday in a game that is pivotal in the playoff picture. This team is led by it’s defense so all the pressure lays on Dak’s shoulders to produce enough on the offensive end.

Chicago Bears (20/1)- The Bears should be getting Mitch Trubisky back this week just in time to face the Rams, who may be the best team in the NFL. This will be a major test for the Bears defense that is regarded as probably the best in the NFL. The Bears a tricky team to judge with their struggles on offense at this point but they are in a great position in their division for this time of year.

Pittsburgh Steelers (8/1)- The Steelers came up short last week vs the Broncos on the road and took their first loss in their last 11 road games. They struggled to get it going on the offensive end and came within 1 yard of forcing a potential overtime. They will be tested this Sunday night vs the Chargers in a prime time matchup. This game will be important for both teams to show who they really are in an important game.

Houston Texans (20/1)- The Texans continue to win football games. Since losing their first 3 games the Texans haven’t lost and have looked better and better each week. Deshaun Watson also looks better and better as the weeks go by and he recovers from his major knee surgery last season. The Texans don’t have the toughest schedule to close out the season so this number could continue to rise assuming Houston takes care of business.

Seattle Seahawks (50/1)- One of the most intriguing teams to me is the Seattle Seahawks. Obviously with the Rams success this year they will only be able snag a wild card spot but that is very possible. The NFC has a bunch of teams jammed up with 5 of 6 wins and with Seattle closing with 2 games vs the 49ers and another vs the Cardinals it is possible for them to get in and make some noise with Russell Wilson’s experience.

Indianapolis Colts (100/1)- The Colts have won 5 straight games but sit behind the Texans in the standings who have won 8 straight games. Andrew Luck is back to his form from 2-3 years ago and like many of the other teams on this list have a favorable closing schedule. They do have to go up against Houston but in their other games they take on the Jags, Giants, Titans, and Cowboys who aren’t anything too special. This is a great number and it is worth a shot behind the play of Luck down the stretch.

New Orleans Saints (2/1)- The Saints jumped the Rams this week and now are the team with the best odds to win the Super Bowl this season. The Saints offense has been borderline unstoppable and they should be able to get the win as big favorites this Thursday vs the Falcons. Their defense has started to play better and with their offense they can compete with anyone at an elite level.

Chicago Bears (16/1)- The Bears showed out on Sunday night in front of a big audience. They had their struggles offensively at times but their elite defense is what really is able to keep them in games. The Bears will be center stage again this week against the Packers and we will really see what they are made of. The Bears jumped from 25 to 16/1 this week and if they pick up another win they could be go even lower.

Dallas Cowboys (60/1)- The Cowboys have had a rebirth of sorts winning 2 straight games and they now have a real chance to win the NFC East and get into the playoffs. They will be up against the Redskins this week who just lost Alex Smith for the season so their above average defense should be able to hold Colt McCoy in check. As a whole their offense is still limited but it has gotten way better than what we saw earlier in the season.

Washington Redskins (200/1)- The Redskins were dealt a tough blow last week when QB Alex Smith went down with a season ending leg injury. That will force Colt McCoy to step into the starting role which isn’t an ideal thing. With the injury to Smith that has dropped the Redskins from 60/1 all the way down to 200/1 this week. If you have Redskins super bowl bet slips already you have to think they are effectively worthless at this point.

New Orleans Saints (11/4)- The Saints have jumped the Chiefs in the latest Westgate odds and for good reason. New Orleans killed the Bengals last week and now look like arguably the best team in all of football. All 3 teams, the Chiefs, Saints, and Rams don’t have the best defenses but their offenses allow them to overpower their opponents. The Saints will be at home vs Philadelphia this week, a team that did not look great in primetime vs the Cowboys last Sunday night.

Pittsburgh Steelers (6/1)- The Steelers got the news this week that Le’Veon Bell would not be playing for them this season but with the way James Conner has played this year it may not matter. Pittsburgh’s defense is starting to play well and their offense has been great all season long. That will be tested vs a tough Jacksonville defense (on paper) but with the way the season has gone for them it is unclear which Jaguars team will show up.

Philadelphia Eagles (40/1)- The Eagles suffered a bad loss last week at home vs the Cowboys. Their defense continues to struggle in the secondary and they will only be tested further this week vs a Saints defense that is clicking on all cylinders. The Eagles have fallen to 40/1 which only puts them slightly ahead of the Redskins. The Eagles have the talent but they will need to get healthy on defense if they want to make some noise this season.

Chicago Bears (25/1)- The Bears looked good again this past week and have moved to 25/1 to win the Super Bowl. They lead a crowded NFC North and will have one of the biggest games of this season this week on Sunday night against the Vikings at home. There were questions about the Bears offense coming into the year but they have been great to this point despite Mitch Trubisky’s faulty accuracy at times.

Kansas City Chiefs (9/2)- It’s no surprise to see the Chiefs this high on the list, currently the 3rd best odds, but people are still questioning whether they can keep up this pace. Andy Reid teams have always been great regular season teams but have struggled later on in the year and into the playoffs. They should have no problems this week though vs a very poor Arizona Cardinals team.

Minnesota Vikings (18/1)- The Vikings came away with another victory last week vs the Lions which makes it 4 of their last 5 with their only loss coming against the Saints. They have a bye this week which will be important with Dalvin Cook and Stefon Diggs being a little banged up. The Vikings have the roster to compete for a championship so at 18/1 they offer great value long term.

Los Angeles Chargers (14/1)- The Chargers have one of the best rosters in the NFL, minus a field goal kicker, and it is starting to show. They are 6-2 with their only 2 losses coming in week 1 vs the Chiefs and week 3 vs the Rams. They have put it all together and have played great over the past couple of weeks. With their next 3 games against the Raiders, Broncos, and Cardinals they should have some good opportunities to improve their record even further.

Carolina Panthers (25/1)- The Panthers are one of the more underrated teams in the league in my opinion. They are 6-2 and only sit one game behind the Saints this season. They will face one of their toughest tests of the season on Thursday when they head out on the road to take on the Steelers. Their defense is strong and the play of Cam Newton makes them a real threat to make some noise the rest of the season.

Houston Texans (25/1)- The Texans have been on a tear winning 5 games in a row after an 0-3 start to the season. They will take on the Broncos this week who seem to be throwing in the towel on the season after trading Demaryius Thomas to this Texans team. This was much needed for the Texans after losing Will Fuller to an ACL injury last week. At 25/1 with an above average defense and Deshaun Watson as QB the Texans have a real shot at making some noise this year and have a good chance at winning their division as well.

New Orleans Saints (7/1)- The Saints once again proved that they are one of the best teams in the NFL by beating the Vikings pretty good on the road last Sunday. They will have another big test this week against the Rams who are the lone undefeated team remaining in the NFL. If they can win this game this will prove they are for real as they would have a win @ Baltimore, @ Minnesota, and at home vs the Rams in a row. Their number is steep at 7/1 but with what we have seen it is well worth it.

Philadelphia Eagles (30/1)- The Eagles still sit behind the Redskins in the NFC East but they made a big move acquiring Lions WR Golden Tate to solidify their passing attack. Tate has been one of the best possession receivers in recent years and he should thrive with Carson Wentz at QB. The Eagles have a tough closing schedule with the Redskins twice, Cowboys twice, Rams, and Texans but they have proven to be elite in the past and as long as they are healthy I like their chances.

Washington Redskins (40/1)- It looks like the Redskins will be battling it out with the Eagles for the NFC East title this season and both teams improved at the deadline with the Eagles acquiring Golden Tate and the Redskins getting Haha Clinton-Dix to sure up the back end of their already pretty solid defense. In my opinion the Redskins schedule the rest of the way is a little easier than the Eagles with games against the Giants, Bucs, and struggling Jaguars but it should be a very tight race. At 30 and 40 to 1 I think both the Redskins and the Eagles could be solid value bets.

Jacksonville Jaguars (50/1)- At one point this season the Jaguars were 8/1 to win the Super Bowl, a lot has changed since then. They benched their starting quarterback last week and their defense has not played well at all over the last two weeks. They will look to change that this week in a tough matchup vs the Eagles in London. Let’s hope the embarrassment of last week will fire them up for this contest which can make them have some value at 50/1.

Carolina Panthers (30/1)- The Panthers continue to find ways to win games. They were down big last week and crawled back when Cam Newton threw a game winning touchdown to Greg Olsen in the final two minutes of the game. We should learn a lot about this team vs the Ravens this week who have probably the toughest defense in all of football. Excluding the Ravens and 2 games with the Saints, the Panthers have a relatively soft closing schedule including games vs the Browns, Buccaneers, and Seahawks.

Cincinnati Bengals (50/1)- Much like the Jaguars, the Bengals have taken two straight losses and after leading the AFC North at one point now sit behind the Steelers. They should be able to find a way to win this week vs the Buccaneers and hopefully they will get back on track. Cincy looked pretty bad against the Chiefs but I wouldn’t look that far into it because pretty much no one has been able to contain them so far this season.

New Orleans Saints (8/1)- The Saints look like they are back and with Drew Brees leading their elite offense this could be a team that makes a deep run in the playoffs. They can now keep Alvin Kamara fresh with Mark Ingram back in the lineup and their defense still isn’t great but it has improved from what we saw early in the season. We will see what they are really made of on Sunday night when they take on the Vikings in a playoff rematch from last season.

Los Angeles Chargers (25/1)- The Chargers have been playing some pretty good football so far this season. Their only losses have come at the hands of the Chiefs and Rams who are two of the best teams in football. They have a very subpar schedule with the Titans, Seahawks, Raiders, Broncos, and Cardinals coming up so hop on this number as it looks like it will continue to rise.

Baltimore Ravens (18/1)- The Ravens defense has been superb this year and that is a big reason that they have one of the better odds to win the Super Bowl. The Ravens are currently 4-2 and could easily ben 5-1 if they didn’t suffer a 3 point OT loss as time expired to the Browns. The only worrisome issue with Baltimore is their inconsistent offense, but with their defense playing like they are currently there won’t be many teams that can compete with them.

Jacksonville Jaguars (25/1)- The Jaguars are trending in the wrong direction and are coming off a terrible loss to the Cowboys 40-7. They are expected to get Leonard Fournette back in the next 1-2 weeks but it is unclear how much that will actually help them due to his struggles with injuries and performance so far this season. They will have to get their defense in check, allowed 70 points in the last 2 weeks, if they want to come away with a victory against Deshaun Watson and the Texans.

Cincinnati Bengals (30/1)- The Bengals scored a late touchdown with a minute left last week vs the Steelers only to allow Pittsburgh to march right down and score one of their own. Despite this, the Bengals still sit in first place in the AFC North with a huge matchup vs the Chiefs coming up this week. Their upcoming stretch of games vs the Chiefs, Bucs, Saints, and Ravens will show if the Bengals are going to be for real or not this season.

Odds to Win SB: 10/9/18

New Orleans Saints (9/1)- The Saints won in a route this past Monday moving their Super Bowl ever so slightly from 10/1 to 9/1. Their defense finally showed up which is the main issue people had with their team at this early point in the season. Drew Brees broke the NFL passing yards record and he is showing no signs of slowing down as they hung 43 points on the Redskins. Expect them to stay around this number as they have a bye this week.

Philadelphia Eagles (25/1)- The Eagles took a tough loss vs the Vikings last week which has now moved their odds from 14/1 down to 25/1. They currently sit in a tie for 2nd in the NFC East which features 3 teams with only two wins on the season. They face an uphill battle as news broke this week that RB Jay Ajayi had torn his ACL and he will miss the rest of the season. Wentz will now be forced to carry an even bigger load on his shoulders in his first games back from major knee surgery.

Cleveland Browns (60/1)- The Browns did it again in overtime last Sunday beating the Ravens in an AFC North contest. The Browns now sit at 2-2-1 on the year which is more wins that they have had in the last 2 years combined. While it is still a longshot that they come anywhere close to the Super Bowl, Baker Mayfield has changed the culture in Cleveland and they should be viewed as a different team than we have always known them as.

Atlanta Falcons (80/1)- The Falcons have fallen far from their 16/1 preseason Super Bowl odds. They have been hit hard with injuries especially on the defensive side and they have a major hill to climb as they sit at 1-4 and the Saints lead the NFC South at 4-1 on the season. They will be a team to watch though as their games in the upcoming weeks aren’t the toughest, Buccaneers, Giants, Redskins, Browns, and Cowboys. If you want to take a flyer this is a team to look out for especially if they start returning some of their key defensive players.

Odds to Win SB: 10/2/18

Kansas City Chiefs (6/1)- The Chiefs continue to play spectacular football and with their win on Monday night vs the Broncos they have moved to 2nd best in the Super Bowl odds list. With the dazzling play of Patrick Mahomes this team is poised to make a run in the AFC. The only issue is the defense which has been bailed out by their offense on numerous occasions this season.

Minnesota Vikings (20/1)- The Vikings dropped their second game in a row vs the Rams on Thursday night and have now moved to 20/1 to win the Super Bowl. This could be a great time to hop in on the Vikings before their number starts to rise again. They boast one of the best offenses in the NFL and their defense is elite as well, although they didn’t show it vs the Rams. Look for the Vikings to climb through the ranks throughout the rest of the season.

Tennessee Titans (25/1)- The Titans have surprised a lot of people so far this season with new head coach Mike Vrabel. They have always had a pretty solid defense but if Marcus Mariota can play the way he did this Sunday vs the Eagles they could be a team to be reckoned with this season. I think it’s a little too early to tell if the Titans are for real but this is a team to look out for.

Pittsburgh Steelers (30/1)- The Steelers fell to the Ravens on Sunday night and now sit at 1-2-1 in last place in the AFC North. They did get some great news this week that Le’Veon Bell could be returning in Week 7-8 which is earlier than expected. Although, it is unclear what his role would be or how he will want to be utilized if he does indeed return. Pittsburgh has some issues on the defensive side they need to fix but they are not a team to be forgotten this year.

Odds to Win SB: 9/18/18

Los Angeles Rams (9/2)- The Rams looked great last week shutting out the Cardinals en route to a 34-0 victory at home. This dominating performance has moved their odds up a bit from 8/1 to 9/2 putting them over the Patriots for the best odds to win the Super Bowl. Their defense has also been stout and they have not allowed a point since the second half of their week 1 Monday night game vs Oakland. From the preseason to now the Rams have moved up and up and I expect that to continue as they keep winning.

Jacksonville Jaguars (8/1)- The Jags really showed why they are one of the best teams in all of football after handling the Patriots pretty handily on Sunday. Their defense continues to be one of the best in the league and their offense has shown big strides, Bortles 377 yards and 4 TDs Sunday. The way they competed without Leonard Fournette really showed how good of a team they are. With a matchup against the Titans this weekend at home they once again should be able to hold the Titans in check.

Kansas City Chiefs (12/1)- The Patrick Mahomes era is upon us. Mahomes wowed everyone again with his play against the Steelers in a victory this past Sunday. The issue for the Chiefs comes on defense where they have not played their best but with Mahomes on the other side they can at least keep up. The Chiefs are intriguing but at 12/1 I think they are a little overvalued this early in the season due to the defensive struggles.

Arizona Cardinals (1000/1)- I don’t think anyone could argue that we didn’t think the Cardinals would be good this season, but did anyone think they were this bad. In the preseason odds they were ranked the 7th worst team and now according to their odds they are the 2nd to last team only ahead of the Bills. The Cardinals offense has been horrendous only scoring 6 total points this season. If we see another offense performance like Sunday vs the Rams we could be getting our first look at first round pick Josh Rosen very soon.

Odds to Win SB: 9/14/18

Los Angeles Rams (8/1)- The Rams came out slow but they went out to shutout the Raiders in the second half a get a 20 point road win. Because of this performance the Rams moved from 10/1 to 8/1 in the latest super bowl odds. With Todd Gurley on offense and their loaded defensive front this will be a team that will consistently be in the top of the odds list all season.

Minnesota Vikings (10/1)- The Vikings handled Jimmy G and the Niners very well this past week and their defense looks stronger than ever. The addition of Kirk Cousins can only help this team and with Dalvin Cook back from injury the Vikings can be a real threat down the stretch. With a defense that forced 3 fumbles and got 3 interceptions in week 1 having a capable offense is just a bonus.

Pittsburgh Steelers (12/1)- The Steelers did not look great vs the Browns turning the ball over 6 times and ultimately the game ended in a tie. Pittsburgh did not deserve to win that game and lucked out when the Browns game winning FG was missed. Things should get easier on the offensive side this week against the Chiefs but their defense will be tested after Patrick Mahomes put up big numbers against a pretty solid Chargers defense. In the long run the Steelers should be fine but after that week 1 performance they are worth monitoring.

New Orleans Saints (14/1)- The Saints took a loss last week vs the Bucs in an offensive battle but their odds stayed put at 14/1. Giving up 48 points to a team like Tampa Bay who is not expected to be a force in the league this year is very concerning. Although they put up 40 points themselves we have seen this movie from the Saints in previous years and it never works out well in the long run. Overall it’s too early to make a complete assessment all of these teams and we should see their true colors in the coming weeks.
