Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Player Prop Picks

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. The Buccaneers are coming off a bit of a controversial win last week after a roughing the passer call that many think decided the game. On the other side, the Steelers are coming off a blowout loss where they just weren’t that competitive in the game. This should still be an interesting matchup. Let’s take a look at some player prop bets that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.

Tom Brady Over 296.5 Passing Yards

This number may seem high, but Tom Brady has gotten back on track these last two weeks, after a bit of a slow start. On the year, Brady has 1,409 passing yards, seven passing touchdowns, and just one interception. He also has a 68% completion percentage. Brady went the first three games of the year without touching the over with this number, but the last two he’s hit the over in this number and then some. The biggest reason being that the Tampa Bay receiving corps finally seems healthy. Pittsburgh has also been torched by the pass recently, with Josh Allen going for 424 yards through the air just last week. Expect Brady to keep up the hot streak, and get the over here and hit over 300 yards too.

Najee Harris Over 57.5 Rushing Yards

Najee Harris is the key for Pittsburgh’s offense going forward. Kenny Pickett could be the future of the franchise, but for now he’s just a rookie. Harris has been a little inconsistent this year, but he’s still the engine that makes this offense go. On the year so far, he has 69 carries, 222 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown. The Buccaneers are giving up an average of 116 rushing yards a game, so Najee Harris could get this over just from that average. Another reason to really like this bet, is the volume of carries that Harris will continue to see, do to him being the primary running back and the Steelers offense trying to take pressure off Pickett.

Leonard Fournette Over 61.5 Rushing Yards

Leonard Fournette has been a little inconsistent this year, but he’s still a very reliable running back. The best thing to like about Fournette is that he’s a compliment to Tom Brady. Defenses need to obviously respect Tom Brady throwing the ball, so Fournette can get these yards just from that. Fournette has gotten over this number in just the first two games of the season, but the Buccaneers continue to feed him the ball. He has 74 carries, 280 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown on the year so far. Also, the Steelers are giving up an average of 129 rushing yards a game, so just from that average Fournette could get the over here too. The volume of carries he’ll see here is also a big reason to love this bet and take the over. Fournette also had a great game last week and should continue that this week.
