Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. San Francisco 49ers Player Prop Picks
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. The Buccaneers are coming off a come from behind win, while the 49ers are coming off a very comfortable win. This should be a very interesting matchup for the NFC Playoff picture. Let’s take a look at some props that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.
Christian McCaffrey Over 53.5 Rushing Yards
Christian McCaffrey has been great with the 49ers so far and was also the most coveted player at the NFL Trade Deadline. He has 160 carries, 700 rushing yards, and four rushing touchdowns on the year. He has hit over this number in 6 of the 12 games that he’s played in for both the Panthers and 49ers this year. The 49ers are the perfect team for McCaffrey due to the offensive system they run, especially for the run game. The Buccaneers allow 118 rushing yards a game for the year, which is a good matchup for McCaffrey on the ground. Take this bet because the volume of touches McCaffrey will get should go up too because with Jimmy Garoppolo out they’ll run the ball more. He’s also one of the best running backs in the league and has a decent matchup here against Tampa Bay.
Tom Brady Over 253.5 Passing Yards
Tom Brady has been decent this year, but hasn’t looked like his normal self either. He has 3,332 passing yards, 16 passing touchdowns, three interceptions, and he has a 66% completion percentage on the year. He has also hit over this number in 8 of the 12 games that the Buccaneers have played in. It’s been a struggle for the Buccaneers this year as compared to the previous two years Brady’s been there. The 49ers allow 229 passing yards a game which is a a tough matchup for Brady. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers rely a lot on the passing game, so take this bet because he should be able to get over this number due to the volume of passing alone because the Buccaneers are not going to be able to run the ball that much.
Brandon Aiyuk Over 43.5 Receiving Yards
Brandon Aiyuk has had a very good season as a bounce back year. He has 56 receptions, 698 receiving yards, and six receiving touchdowns on the year. He’s hit over this number in 8 of the 12 games that the 49ers have played in. There is a question on him hitting this number because Jimmy Garoppolo is injured, but he’s still a good receiver and can help Brock Purdy out when necessarily. The Buccaneers are decent against the pass and allow 218 yards a game through the air. Purdy was very good in relief of Garoppolo last week, and with a week to prepare Aiyuk is a perfect target to help him out when necessary. He’s been very reliable this year which is a 180 as compared to last year.
