Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Washington Football Team Player Props (11/14/21)
Contents
Last season, these teams delivered an exciting playoff matchup that gave the eventual Super Bowl champion Buccaneers quite the scare in the first round. Washington has fallen apart since then, but the bye week will hopefully give them some time to get their offensive pieces more healthy. There are plenty of intriguing betting angles for this game, and in this article, I’ll take a look at the best player props out there for this matchup.

Taylor Heinecke Over 22.5 Passing Completions
This line seems way too low. Taylor Heinecke completed 26 passes against the Buccaneers when they played in the playoffs earlier this year. He’s averaging 23.4 completions per game across his seven starts this season and has passed this number in four of his last five games. Heinecke is also facing the Buccaneers, who are allowing 27.5 passing completions per game this season, the most in the NFL despite facing low-volume quarterbacks in Trevor Siemian, Jacoby Brissett, Justin Fields, and Jalen Hurts over the past month. The game script should be in Heinecke’s favor, and while the Buccaneers’ secondary is getting healthier, I love this line.
Mike Evans Over 4.5 Receptions
I think this line is about a reception too low and I expected it to be at 5.5 or 6 for this game. Washington’s defense has allowed 286.8 passing yards per game, the most in the NFL,
Tom Brady Over 298.5 Passing Yards
This game is a match made in heaven for Tom Brady as he faces the Washington defense that is allowing 286.8 passing yards per game, the most in the NFL. Brady is throwing for 331.3 yards per game this season and has shown a willingness to air the ball out even when the Buccaneers are winning by multiple scores. Patrick Mahomes (397), Josh Allen (358), and Justin Herbert (337) have all thrown for well over 300 yards against Washington this year. While Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski are still injured, I have complete faith in Brady’s ability to hit this mark.
J.D. McKissic Over 47.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
The Buccaneers have had one of the best run defenses in the NFL over the past several years and had allowed just 82.7 rushing yards per game this year, the fewest in the league. Therefore, I’m fading Antonio Gibson this week. However, I’m very interested in the recent trend of the team favoring J.D. McKissic – he’s played on more snaps than Gibson each of the past three weeks and has averaged 86.3 yards from scrimmage over that span. A lingering shin injury still limits Gibson, and McKissic should see a heavy target share as Heinecke looks to check down to him to mitigate a ferocious Tampa pass rush.
