Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts Player Prop Picks
The Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts enter week 4 surprisingly trailing the Jacksonville Jaguars in their division. What was expected to be a matchup between the top two teams of the division now features two teams trying to build off their first wins of the season last week. Their star players will have to put some stats and points for their team to get their second win. Keep an eye out for the following prop bets below!
Jonathan Taylor Over/Under 92.5 Rushing Yards
Jonathan Taylor should rush for at least 93 yards versus the Titans. The Tennessee Titans have the 4th worst rush defense this season which will be an advantage for Taylor. The Titans currently allow about 145 rushing yards per game, so expect the reigning rushing champion in Taylor to have a big rushing day. Even more to Taylor’s advantage is the Colts offensive line played better last week versus the Chiefs, which will give them confidence in blocking the Titans defensive front.
Ryan Tannehill Over/Under 221.5 Passing Yards
I expect Titans QB Ryan Tannehill to throw for over 221 yards this Sunday. Though Tannehill does not have the most elite receiving corps without AJ Brown, all three quarterbacks the Colts have played cleared 222 passing yards this season. With the Colts having one of the top run defenses across the league, the Titans may have to put the ball in Tannehill’s hands to drive down the field. Passing for 222 yards is also not a high total in today’s pass heavy league, so Tannehill should be able to make it no problem.
Michael Pittman Jr. Over/Under 67.5 Receiving Yards
Michael Pittman will put up at least 68 receiving yards this Sunday. Pittman is easily the number one weapon on the Colts and has had over 70 receiving yards in both games he’s played this season. Matt Ryan should target him on Sunday as he is the most reliable receiver on the Colts and has shown great ability to garner yards after the catch. Not only this, but he also will go up against a bottom 10 pass defense in the Tennessee Titans which will lend favorably toward hims yardage.
Derrick Henry Over/Under 71.5 Rushing Yards
I’m taking Henry to fall short of 72 rushing yards and for the under to hit. Henry has a tough matchup against the Colts as they have the third best rushing defense this season. The Titans do not have any star offensive players outside of Henry, so the Colts will be able to focus on stopping him. Also considering Henry has yet to rush for 100 yards this season and return to his pre-injury form, do not count on him to have a big rushing game this Sunday.
