Thunder First-Half Spread:
Oklahoma City has beaten Indiana by 8.3 points per 100 possessions at home this series, and its perimeter efficiency is 8.9% higher in Paycom Center compared to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. It’s clear that home-court advantage causes the Thunder’s role players to shoot with more confidence, and the crowd injects endless amounts of energy into the defense.
However, their dominance has not been evenly distributed throughout the game. OKC’s net rating in the first half at home is 28 points per 100 possessions, but it plummets to -12.4 points per 100 possessions in the second half. This drastic disparity doesn’t seem to be a fluke, either.
Indiana’s offense whips the basketball around, possesses legit 3-point shooting at all five positions, and loves to push the pace. It’s extremely tiring to defend this style across an entire game. OKC is often worn out in the second half, which negatively impacts its closeouts, rotations, and off-ball movement.
Plus, the Thunder played for a title in Game 6 and looked nervous, while the Pacers fought tooth and nail to extend the series. Those are completely different mindsets. Indiana now gets to suit up with a championship on the line for the first time, which could inspire the same nerves that shook OKC in Game 6. On the other hand, the Thunder have been through this experience and likely come out angry and bolstered by the home crowd.
Will this psychological factor actually matter? Who knows, but it’s feasible and may help OKC seize an early lead.
For these reasons, I suggest taking the Thunder to cover the first-half spread at 1.5 units.

Jalen Williams First Points Scorer (+550, DraftKings Sportsbook)
Chet Holmgren has won the tip-off for OKC in five of six games this series, and he’s heavily favored to secure the first possession in Game 7.
Over the last few first-quarter performances, Jalen Williams has racked up a combined 20 field goal attempts and 25 points, both marks lead all players. He’s relentlessly attacking the basket and punishing Indiana for focusing on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Look for J-Dub to get aggressive early, as that opens up the offense for his teammates.
I would play the line at 0.25 units.

Aaron Wiggins 2+ Made Threes (+255, FanDuel Sportsbook) & 3+ Made Threes (+830, FanDuel)
OKC’s role players are far better in Paycom Center, and it’s especially true for Aaron Wiggins. With three games played in each arena this series, he’s shooting 9-for-16 from deep at home compared to 1-for-5 on the road. His efficiency and volume both spike in front of the Thunder’s fans, and they desperately need him to produce because he’s one of their better options at sinking semi-contested triples.
I recommend taking Wiggins’ 2+ three-pointers prop at three-quarters of a unit and his 3+ line at one-quarter of a unit.
Good luck with your bets on Thunder-Pacers odds!
