Tipico Sports Deck at Rhinegeist Brewery

On Jan. 15, Tipico Sportsbook debuted its co-branded partnership with Cincinnati’s Rhinegeist Brewery, the home of the newly-established Tipico Sports Deck.

The Tipico Sports Deck seeks to enhance the fan experience through watch parties, events, and sports-themed activations. It’s equipped with deck-style seating and nine additional televisions.

During Sunday’s Wild Card game between the Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens, Rhinegeist hosted its “First Round Showdown,” a weekend long watch party. Attendees received specialty Rhinegeist merchandise and exclusive promotions as they watched the game from the Tipico Sports Deck.

“We couldn’t be more excited to build a partnership with Tipico, a trusted name in sports betting. We are already a destination for major sporting events in the Cincinnati area, and this partnership will only enrich the experience for our guests” said Rhinegeist Director of Strategic Partnerships, Marissa Beck.

Sunday’s game marked the first of many future events of the same nature for the brewery and sportsbook. Tipico is set to sponsor a variety of gameday events at the brewery throughout the year including Super Bowl Sunday, March Madness, MLB Opening Day and the Kentucky Derby.

“Sports are a cornerstone of Cincinnati’s history and cultural fabric, and we look forward to bringing people together with the added incentive of winning big with Tipico,” Beck continued.

With the Bengals’ win over the Ravens, they are set to play the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round this week. Currently, Joe Burrow and company are the third favorite to win the AFC Championship behind Buffalo and Kansas City, but Ohioans will at least get a chance to bet on them for another week. If all goes as planned, Tipico will gain brand recognition in Cincinnati and increase first-time deposits in the Tipico mobile app.

“This exhilarating new collaboration with Rhinegeist will allow our Ohio team to transform the gameday experience and harness the unwavering allegiance of the Cincinnati sports fan base,” said David Paschkes, Chief Commercial Officer of Tipico. “Rhinegeist has rapidly established itself as a staple of the Cincinnati community and will be an instrumental partner in helping us establish hyperlocal affinity and a level of authenticity unmatched by competitors.”

Tipico Expanding Ohio Partnerships

This partnership comes after Tipico’s Dec. 6 announcement which included another Ohio development.

In partnership with AEG Presents, Tipico entered a multi-year agreement to sponsor several AEG Presents-owned and operated music venues in Ohio, including KEMBA Live!, Newport Music Hall, A&R Music Bar, The Basement and the Agora Theatre & Ballroom. Tipico will also be a presenting partner at the company’s Best Bet Concert Series, which will occur annually at these venues.

This is the first time that AEG Presents has partnered with a sportsbook at any of its music venues.
