What 3 Sportsbook Apps Can You Bet On in Tennessee Today?
Contents
Tennessee is launching sports betting this Sunday for the first time in the state. The Tennessee Education Lottery is overseeing the new industry and has approved four sportsbooks to begin taking bets on November 1. One unique thing about Tennessee sports betting is that it will be all done online as the state has no casino for sportsbooks to partner with.
This is unprecedented for states legalizing sports betting as everyone else has had sportsbooks partner with a casino to open a retail spot before launching a mobile betting app. Tennessee will do the opposite and go strictly online sports betting in the state.
Here are the four sportsbooks that Tennessee bettors can expect to use starting Sunday.
#1 DraftKings Sportsbook Mobile App
Arguably the most popular sports in the U.S. are DraftKings, and they are one of four sportsbooks entering the Tennessee market on Day 1. DraftKings has online sports betting operations in eight states. Tennessee will join New Jersey, West Virginia, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Iowa, Colorado, and Illinois.
DraftKings is also offering new users a $50 bonus bet when they sign-up before Sunday. If you create a DraftKings account, they will give a bonus $50 bet to sign up. The bonus bet will be available for seven days after DraftKings launches. Even if you are an existing DraftKings user, you will also receive the bet once they are live in Tennessee.
#2 FanDuel Sportsbook Mobile App
FanDuel will be setting up shop in the Volunteer State next month when Tennessee sports betting launches. FanDuel is currently operating in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Colorado, Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa, which gives them one of the largest market shares in the U.S. Tennessee will be the eighth state FanDuel has mobile betting in.
FanDuel is also offering customers a bonus bet up to $1,000 when they sign-up. All you have to do is create a FanDuel account and deposit a minimum of $25, and you will be eligible for the bonus bet. Remember, you will want to take full advantage of this offer, so it is important that your can deposit at least $1,000 into your account.
#3 BetMGM Sportsbook Mobile App
MGM has been one of the best-operating casinos in Las Vegas and has expanded into the sports betting industry, launching BetMGM. Originally launching its online sportsbook in New Jersey, it is now operating in four states, including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Indiana. BetMGM will launch in Tennessee, making it the fifth state the online sportsbook has entered in.
BetMGM is offering customers a deposit match up to $500. When you sign-up with BetMGM and make your first deposit, BetMGM will match your deposit up to $500. This will help you increase your bankroll when you start betting in Tennessee. BetMGM announced they would be launching on November 1.

Action 24/7
Tennessee will be getting a brand new sportsbook in its state in November called Tennessee Action 24/7. The sportsbook will be local to Tennessee and only operate in the state. Tennessee Action plans on launching its sportsbook the first week of November, a few days after BetMGM, DraftKings, and FanDuel.
The issue is with the betting operator Amelco, the companies betting supplier. Amelco submitted its application to the Tennessee Education Lottery on September 23 and will take at least six weeks to go through the screening process and background check before it is approved. This sets up Tennessee Action with a launch date a few days after November 1 if all goes well. There is still no official timetable on when Action 24/7 will be ready, but it should be in the first week of November.
