Just a week after William Hill entered the West Virginia sports betting market, they head west and launch in Colorado on Wednesday. Colorado is now the 10th state that William Hill has entered as they expand its sports betting empire throughout the U.S.
The U.K. sportsbook partnered up with Isle Casino Hotel in Black Hawk, Colorado, 38 miles west of Denver in the Rocky Mountain foothills. The William Hill sports betting app will also be available for people in the Centennial State.
The app will be similar to the one that William Hill New Jersey customers use. When you join William Hill, you can get a $500 free bet when you deposit.
William Hill launches its sports betting app the day before the NFL season begins against the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans. The timing could not have been better with Week 1 NFL on the horizon.
The William Hill sports betting app is also available for IOS and Android devices found, so customers do not need to worry about compatibility. The U.K. sports betting empire now has mobile apps in Colorado, Iowa, and New Jersey and also has retail locations in 10 states as well.
William Hill is offering customers a $500 free bet when they sign-up. Once they are registered with a William Hill account, then they will be free to be on whatever sport they would like.
The U.K. sportsbook also just recently re-designed its betting app to be more aesthetically pleasing. The updates give a modern and cleaner look, which all attract new users when they sign-up.
What Does this Mean?
Colorado gets another reputable sportsbook into the tough Colorado competition. William Hill should be a leading brand for customers to go too, especially with their location being within an hour of Denver.
Willaim Hill is ever expanding throughout the U.S. At the end of August, William Hill took over six sportsbooks in the U.S. from CG Technology and potentially forming a blockbuster partnership with Caesar’s to run their sportsbook.
The U.K. sportsbook has the third-largest market share in the U.S. sports betting industry and will only continue to grow as more states legalize sports wagering. William Hill is operating in 10 states, but only has three states with mobile sportsbooks, and Colorado is one of them.
There is a chance that they could add mobile operations to the states they are currently in, along with adding them when they go live in other states.
Over the last month, we have seen William Hill add more locations to its Las Vegas portfolio, launch in West Virginia, and launch in Colorado. The sky is the limit for the U.K. sportsbook. For a company that has been around since 1934, it has stood the test of time.
William Hill will continue to expand throughout the U.S. and become a leader in the sports betting industry.
