This internship runs year-round. We work with you on your schedule. it requires 3 months of dedication.

This is a position for students interesting in gaining sports writing experience with Lineups.com. Lineups.com currently receives 3,000,000 – 6,000,000 pageviews per month. We are growing the Lineups brand quickly and looking for writers with a passion for NBA, NFL and/or MLB who have some experience writing.

This is an opportunity to gain some valuable experience with a respected site, improve your craft and add a valuable building block to your resume. There is potential for paid positions in the future.

We are looking for NBA & MLB & NFL Team Writers. You will be writing previews for your favorite team similar to this – https://www.lineups.com/articles/milwaukee-bucks-detroit-pistons-preview/ as well as topics that interest you. If you have experience with fantasy sports, there are ample opportunities in that niche as well.

Time Commitment: 20 hours per week, which should translate into 2-3 articles per day.

Sports Betting Writer

We are looking for an experienced sports bettor with a passion for sharing their knowledge and expertise. You will cover betting news across the US as well as ongoing content to help Lineups readers become smarter bettors.

Description:

Daily news coverage – this requires time sensitive material throughout the day. IE – if a press release and/or law comes out, you will write an article on it.

Outreach & Relationship Building – we will establish relationships with the PR teams of various Sportsbook, Casinos and representatives of News organization. We will conduct interviews as well as gather information.

Picks – you will cover sports picks for various leagues

Reviews – write detailed reviews on online sportsbook and casinos. You will research and play on these sites.

Promotional and Marketing material – you will write coverage of ongoing promotions

Evergreen writing – you will write editorial and evergreen content to educate and satisfy user searches.
