Fantasy Sleepers Week 10: Pickups to Win

Coming into the toughest week for finding a bye week replacement, sleepers will be most important this week. These sleepers have either a favorable matchup worthy of exploiting or will have opportunity in their offense this week to produce for you. This is written for a 12-person 0.5 PPR league format. WR DeVante Parker (MIA) vs. IND – 22.8% Rostered

DeVante Parker led all Miami Dolphins wide receivers in snaps during their week 9 win against the Jets. Parker saw 6 targets, catching 4 targets for 57 yards and 1 touchdown, averaging 14.2 yards per reception. The Dolphins threw the ball more against the Jets than they have all season long. Parker is QB Ryan Fitzpatrick’s favorite target in this offense throughout this season. The Dolphins also lost their number 2 wide receiver in Preston Williams to a season-ending ACL injury. With this unfortunate injury, Parker will be expected to be getting even more targets and receptions. The Dolphins will face the Indianapolis Colts who just lost their starting quarterback to an MCL sprain against Pittsburgh in week 9. The Colts are middle of the pack so far this season against fantasy wide receivers. Parker is the only player on the Dolphins worth playing this week against the Colts. Parker is in consideration for a flex spot this week against the Colts.

RB Darrell Henderson (LAR) vs. PIT – 21.2% Rostered

With Todd Gurley failing to see more than 19 touches all year long, Henderson’s snap count has been creeping up to 50% since the injury to Malcolm Brown. Seeing 48% of the snaps during week 8, carrying the ball 11 times for 49 yards, catching 2 balls for 20 yards. Henderson carried the ball more times than Gurley during week 8. Henderson has seen double-digit carries in both of the last two games. Although the Rams will be facing a tough matchup against the Steelers’ defense, Henderson is still expected to see double-digit touches during week 10.

WR Zach Pascal (IND) vs. MIA – 6.6% Rostered

Playing at least 92% of snaps during the past 2 games, Playing 94% of snaps during week 9. Pascal saw 6 targets, catching 5 for 76 yards and a touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 9. Continuing his production even after the Brissett injury, averaging 15.2 yards per reception last week from Brian Hoyer. Facing Miami during week 10, Miami has allowed the 3rd most yards per completion along with the 3rd most passing touchdowns this season. Losing fellow receiver T.Y. Hilton to a calf injury that will sideline him for an expected 3-4 weeks. Pascal will be able to continue his production against Miami’s lackluster defense, stepping into the number one wide receiver role.

TE Kyle Rudolph (MIN) vs. DAL – 25.7% Rostered

Seeing his 2nd highest target share of the season, Rudolph caught 3 passes for 23 yards and a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs. With Adam Thielan leaving this game early with a hamstring injury, Rudolph’s involvement saw an uptick. During the past 3 games where Thielan has missed time, Rudolph has more than doubled his targets during the first 6 games. If Thielan is going to miss more time, Rudolph will be a viable TE option to pick up off the waiver wire. Rudolph has continued to see a majority of snaps in this Vikings offense. Without Thielan, Rudolph is a tight-end 1 until he returns.

QB Jimmy Garoppolo (SF) vs. SEA – 33.5% Rostered

Coming off of his best performance of the season, throwing for 317 yards and 4 touchdowns. Garoppolo proved his haters wrong against Arizona. However, a tougher matchup against the Seattle Seahawks will prove to be more challenging. This inter-divisional rivalry will be the first meeting of the season for these two teams. The Seahawks have allowed the 2nd most passing yards and the 10th most yards per completion this season. New wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has proven to be a fantastic addition to this offense, giving Garoppolo a legit number 1 wide receiving option in this offense. Since adding Sanders, Garoppolo has achieved his highest completion percentages of the year, highest QBR rating, highest yards, and has nearly doubled his touchdowns for the season. A potentially high scoring matchup with Seattle, Garoppolo will be forced to win through the air. Garoppolo will be a low-end QB1 this week against the Seattle Seahawks.

WR Zay Jones (OAK) vs. LAC – 1.3% Rostered

After being traded to the Oakland Raiders during week 6, Jones led all Raiders wide receivers in snaps and routes run. Jones played a total of 92% of snaps during week 9. Jumping all the way up from 39% of snaps during week 8. Jones saw 4 targets, catching 3 for 21 yards. Facing a tough matchup next week against the LA Chargers during week 10 will prove challenging for the young receiver. However, this also provides a great opportunity for Jones to produce fantasy points. Jones tied Tyrell Williams for 2nd in targets with 4 targets each. The Chargers are 9th in yards per passing attempt this season at 7.4 yards. Jones is a The game-script will be a favorable for Jones with this Chargers’ team performing better with a newly established rushing attack. Jones is a risky play during week 10. Seeing so much of this offense last week, Jones has been highly talked about by Head Coach Jon Gruden. Jones could see his breakout this week against the Chargers.
