Miami Dolphins Pass Offense Vs. New York Jets

Miami DolphinsRyan Fitzpatrick and the passing game has been putting up numbers of late, and that will continue this week against the Jets. They rank 21st in DVOA against the pass this season, and Jamal Adams is doubtful for this week. The Jets run defense is solid, and I don’t expect much on the ground against him. Teams are throwing at the 8th highest rate against the Jets defense this season. There was a stretch where Dwayne Haskins, Daniel Jones, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Gardner Minshew threw 12 touchdowns over the four games and three of the four hit over 250 yards passing. Over the past three games, Fitzpatrick has two 300_ games, and five touchdowns. The volume has been 39, 39, and 45 passing attempts. DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki are the two prime options in the receiving game.

Los Angeles Chargers Run Offense Vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Los Angeles ChargersJacksonville ranks 31st in DVOA against the run, and the Jaguars continue to get crushed on the ground. They have allowed 5.1 yards per carry this season, and have allowed 136 rushing yards per game. They are allowing the 6th most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season, and the most over the last four games. They have allowed 641 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns in that span. In the last three games, they have allowed three 100+ yard rushing games, and two multi-touchdown games. Melvin Gordon has rushed 20 or more times in each of the last three games, and has been over 4.9 YPC or higher in three of the last four games as well. The passing work has fallen around 3-4 targets per game, where he chips in with 4-5 fantasy points in PPR formats. Austin Ekeler continues to get work as well, seeing around 10-12 touches per game. His numbers have been solid, more so through the air, but they both have standalone value.

Tennessee Titans Vs. Oakland Raiders

Tennessee TitansThe Titans are on the road this week against the Raiders, who have been gashed on the defensive side over the last few weeks. Tennessee has a 25 implied total, and they have been running the ball at will, but Ryan Tannehill has also been serviceable as well. Oakland ranks 28th in DVOA against the pass, and 26th in DVOA against the run. The passing game is in a good spot, as Oakland is allowing the third most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season. They are also allowing the 11th most fantasy points per game to wide receivers, and the 5th most to opposing tight ends. AJ Brown and Corey Davis are flyers because the floor is so low, and Jonnu Smith is a streaming option. Derrick Henry has been running wild of late, and the Raiders are allowing the 7th most fantasy points per game over the last five weeks. This is a potential onslaught waiting to happen.

Minnesota Vikings Vs. Detroit Lions

Minnesota VikingsThe Vikings are in the top spot this week, although injuries are going to be something to follow. Dalvin Cook’s workload might be held back this week as they are two touchdown favorites, where Alexander Mattison might see a bit more work. The Lions are allowing the third most fantasy points per game to running backs. They have allowed 118 rushing yards per game, and 4.5 yards per carry. Detroit ranks 20th in DVOA against the run, and 26th against the pass. The pass defense also continues to struggle, and over the last five weeks they have allowed the 9th most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Quarterbacks have averaged the 7th most fantasy points per game. Kyle Rudolph can keep things rolling, as the Lions have allowed the 8th most fantasy points per game to tight ends.

Carolina Panthers Pass Offense Vs. Arizona Cardinals

Carolina PanthersThe Panthers struggled against the Redskins last time out, and also against the Falcons when they played a few weeks ago. I still like the upside of this group this week. Atlanta ranks 27th in DVOA against the pass this season, and are allowing the 7th most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks and wide receivers. Over the last five weeks, DJ Moore is second in PPR points and Curtis Samuel is 27th. Samuel has seen 473 air yards and Moore is at 653. Moore has dominated targets in that span, but the upside is there for both names. Moore is a no brainer, but Samuel and Allen are in good spots if you had some doubt.
