Week 10 Kicker Rankings & Pickups: Ryan Succop To Continue His Hot Season

We are about halfway through the year and currently, Younghoe Koo is leading the league in scoring. We have some familiar names like Wil Lutz and Harrison Butker in the top-ten as expected. Justin Tucker has been a lock each week as well. There are some new names who have come around with some improved offenses that helped. Joey Slye, Randy Bullock, and Daniel Carlson are all top-ten in scoring. Koo and Butker are both on bye this week so there are a few streaming options to deploy.

Top Week 10 Kickers

Wil Lutz continues to be a staple each week as a top kicker. The Saints offense cruised last week where they didn’t need him much but overall he is the second-highest scoring kicker on the season behind Koo and is averaging 9.5 fantasy points per game. The matchup with the 49ers is decent as well with them allowing a shade over two field goal attempts per game to kickers on the season. Joey Slye continues to be a strong kicking option each week as he gets the Buccaneers this season. Carolina’s offense has helped out Slye because they can move the ball but finishing off drives has been rather poor at times. That will likely be the case this week against a stingy Buccaneers defense. On the other side of that game, Ryan Succop continues to put up strong numbers and the Panthers are allowing the 7th most fantasy points per game to kickers and 19 field goal attempts in nine games.

Justin Tucker is averaging 8.9 fantasy points per game this season and gets the Patriots this week, who have allowed 8.3 fantasy points per game. Tucker has improved based on last year with his attempts because the offense struggling with their efficiency. Mason Crosby is in a dream spot this week against the Jaguars, who are allowing a whopping 9.9 fantasy points per game. Crosby has been flirting with decent scores each week but the Packers being so damn efficient hasn’t helped his attempts out. Daniel Carlson is an excellent option this week, who is now 6th in scoring on the season. As mentioned this will be a high scoring affair and the Broncos have allowed the 5th most fantasy points per game to opposing kickers this season.

Streaming Options

Jason Sanders (24%) has been on a tear this season averaging nine fantasy points per game and was dropped on the bye week and has not been picked back up for many. Sanders projects well against the Chargers this week, who have allowed the 9th most fantasy points per game to kickers on the season. They have allowed 18 attempts over eight games this season. Brandon McManus is just 45% rostered and with the Broncos offense starting to move the ball, we tend to see more field goal volume go up. McManus is 14th in points and has had his bye but overall he has averaged eight points per game. He gets the Raiders this week, which is a middle of the road matchup but it is another projected high scoring game where points should be favorable on both sides of the ball. Dan Bailey (4%) is available in every league, and while he has had a pedestrian season with only eight attempts, this is a matchup that has been terrific for fantasy kickers. The Bears are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game and have allowed 30 field goal attempts over nine games this season.

Tough Week 10 Kicking Matchups

Nick Folk is in a tough spot this week against the Ravens, who have allowed just ten field goal attempts in eight games. Folk is a middle of the league scorer in terms of fantasy, but this is a matchup you can fade him in. Mike Badgley has been a solid fantasy kicker this season but has also missed a couple of kicks where it keeps him from that top tier. The Dolphins defense is decent but they also allow more touchdowns in comparison to field goal attempts. They have allowed just nine on the season and 21 touchdowns. Badgley still has decent volume with the Chargers offense being solid but it isn’t something I am banking on. Randy Bullock is a top-five kicker this season and has a matchup against the Steelers, who have allowed 5.4 fantasy points per game to kickers this season. Rodrigo Blankenship was stifled last week against the Ravens and that could be the case again with the Titans allowing more production in touchdowns in comparison to attempts.
