Browns Run Game vs. the Houston Texans
The Browns and Baker Mayfield have seen some struggles in the passing game. The Browns, as a team, are ranked 29th in passing yards, completion percentage, and passing play percentage. It looks as if Nick Chubb will be making his return to the team this week, after being on injured reserve since week four. While he played, he averaged 15.1 fantasy points per game. While Chubb was around, Kareem Hunt also averaged 17.43 fantasy points. Neither of these two takes away from the other’s value and they both should see around 15 touches per game. The Browns will face the Houston Texans in week 10, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to running backs this season and 5.1 yards per attempt as a team, the second-worst in the NFL. Kareem Hunt has projected 16.65 points and Nick Chubb is projected 14.2 points. Both of these running backs should be RB1 options for week 10.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Run Game vs. Carolina Panthers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers backfield of Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette has been a thriving duo this season. Jones has been leading the two with a fantasy average of 12.5 fantasy points per game, while Leonard Fournette has an average of 10.1 points himself. Jones has struggled with minimal toches in the last two weeks with only 10 carries and 11.4 total fantasy points. However, before then he only had one game under 10 points. The last time he played against Carolina, he had one touchdown and 10.7 fantasy points. Unlike Jones, Fournette’s last three games have averaged him nearly 12 points per game. The last time he played Carolina, Fournette had his best fantasy week with 103 rushing yards and two touchdowns for 27.6 fantasy points. Carolina has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to running backs this season, making this a great opportunity for the duo. Ronald Jones has projected 12 fantasy points and Leonard Fournette is projected 12.2 points. Both of these running backs have low-end RB1 potential and high-end RB2 value depending on their touches.
Green Bay Passing Game vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars have allowed a lot of fantasy points across the board. They have allowed the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, the 12th most to wide receivers, and the third most to tight ends. This bodes well for Aaron Rodgers to have a top-five fantasy week as he is coming off a 30 point fantasy game over the San Francisco 49ers. Davante Adams is being considered the most valuable fantasy receiver in the league, as he has not had a game under 30 fantasy points in three weeks and has been in the endzone six times in that span. Robert Tonyan saw better days at the beginning of this season, but he had a healthy 12.2 fantasy point game two weeks ago and has a chance to put up numbers against this team. Marquez-Valdes Scantling put up two touchdowns and a little over 19 fantasy points last game, and could make for a possible flex option. Look for Green Bay’s passing game to light a fire on the Jaguars next week.
Denver Broncos Flex Options vs. Las Vegas Raiders
While Las Vegas may win this game against the Broncos, Denver has some particular skill players that could see great fantasy weeks in flex positions or final starting positions. The Raiders have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, the fourth most to running backs, and the 15th most to wide receivers. I like Drew Lock as a replacement quarterback for those on bye weeks or with struggling starters. He has projected 15.8 fantasy points next week even though he dropped nearly 30 last week. Melvin Gordon and Phillip Linsday are excellent RB2 picks or flex options as they rank 20th and 28th in projections. Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick, if healthy, could also be considered possible flex pieces next week at the wide receiver position. Jeudy is projected 12.85 and Patrick has projected 10.15 fantasy points next week.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams
This game should withhold the most fantasy points from one game as my fantasy football game of the week. The Seattle Seahawks have three players in the top five of fantasy points, not including Chris Carson who is 7th in average points. The Los Angeles Rams have allowed the third least points to quarterbacks and the second least to wide receivers, and they are also above average in maintaining running backs. However, Russell Wilson is averaging 29.52 points per game and has been one of the best fantasy quarterbacks. D.K Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are second and fifth in total fantasy points this season and will be a force against the Rams. Chris Carson has been averaging 17.5 fantasy points this season, but he may not play. If he can’t play, DeeJay Dallas has averaged nearly 15 fantasy points in the last two weeks. Metcalf and Lockett have projected 17.2 and 14.85 points. Wilson is projected 23.75, and Carson has projected 10.85 points.
The Rams have a lot of solid fantasy players on their roster with Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, Darrell Henderson, and Tyler Higbee. The Seahawks defense is ranked last in points allowed to quarterbacks and wide receivers this season. Woods has been averaging 15.7 fantasy points and is projected 15.45 points next week. Cooper Kupp has averaged 14.3 fantasy points this season and is projected 15.65 fantasy points next week. I like Tyler Higbee as a possible TE streamer as he has projected 6.15 fantasy points. Plus, Darrell Henderson is projected 10.85 with his handle of the backfield. The Rams should have an excellent fantasy week against Seattle’s weak defense in week 10.
